I dont get to eat here very often because my husband and his co-workers frequent Cracker Barrel without me :) But its a good one. We were just here after church a couple Sunday nights ago. We were with friends visiting from out of town so we had a party of 8. We were seated quickly and had very friendly service. My husband ordered the fried chicken that was special of the day and his portions were HUGE. Others ate breakfast items. I ordered the Rainbow Trout with green beans and turnip greens. My food was really good but for being on Country Dinner Plate menu, it was very small portions for the price and compared to normal. With friends present, I didnt say anything. The food was good, none the less. I have food allergies and am gluten free - they have many items on both the dinner and breakfast menu that I can eat. I love looking through the gift shop and I was not the least offended to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations displayed - it puts me in the mood. They have great greeting cards, and their fall items were already marked down. Overall, this is a great Cracker Barrel. Weve met friends here who were driving through town heading for a singing date. Easy to park a bus and who doesnt love Cracker Barrel :)

I was a party of 6 so you would think a waitress would be looking forward to that tip, but apparently not. Do NOT get the waitress named Heather! Ive never met such a sarcastic, rude, & unfriendly, person in my life... honestly she was a b*tch if were being honest. Especially coming from one who should be excellent when it comes to service. I asked her can I substitute my eggs for something else due to an allergy and her response was "NO!" very harsh like and cut me off and continued to walk away. I was shocked. Then she charged me for eggs she never brought to the table. Charged me wrong for a large drink I didnt get. Threw the bill on the table and didnt utter one word. Food took almost 30 minutes to come to my table. She never aplogized or came to check on the table. Nothing! However I believe she may have been the manager there at the time, she was very sweet so thankfully she was there because HEATHER ruined my breakfast. But basically quit your job if youre miserable. Quit your job and live under a rock if serving people with different colored skin tones bothers you. Whatever the reason, her personality was ugly and disgusting.

I have had better experiences at this Cracker Barrel. The food was excellent, but the service left alot to be desired. The waitress was inattentive, as she was too busy catching up with friends at the next table. It took too long for our drink order to be taken and fulfilled, and then it took forever for her to get around to taking our meal order as she kept having to return to the next table for another chat about "when it comes to games, my father and I are so competitive." Then one f the managers came and joined in the chat. After a bit the manager came over to let us know that for some reason our meals would be delayed. I dont mind friendliness in waitstaff, but on a busy Friday evening, a little less chit chat and more attentiveness to her other customers would have been a plus.

I had breakfast there on 5/7/17. The waitress seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. I ordered pancakes and coffee. After she brought them to me, she disappeared, never to be seen again. I finished my coffee and choked down a few more bites of pancake. Then I waited and waited and waited. Finally I saw someone who looked like he was an employee. I asked him to find my waitress and have her bring me my bill. A few minutes later, he brought the bill and left it on the table. I left immediately. I did not leave a tip. Also, the pancakes were not good. They were "crispy". I advise that you give this place a miss. There are plenty of other places very close by.

The old saying is, when youve seen one youve seen them all. Cracker Barrel restaurants are all over. Im retired and my wife and I travel a lot. we usually stop in one or two during the trip because sometimes you are tired and just want to go some place where you know what you will get. Home cooking, and for the most part, always consistent. My wife also likes the fact that it is also a gift shop where she can brows and walk off some of the meal.

Ive eaten here several times this time I got breakfast, my waitress was looking at my plate funny she said I thought I saw something. So as I was ready to eat my bacon there was a hair fried into my bacon.. This is the second time Ive gotten hair in my food there last time there were two in my chicken and dumplings. Im really rethinking if ever going to this one again

I have been to Cracker Barrels all over the U.S. Its never been bad. The service is always good and so is the food. This particular one is horrible. The food was cold, we never got any bread or rolls, our waitress was no where in sight, etc. If you really want to go to one in this area try the one in Carlisle

This stop on a long journey for breakfast was so welcoming. The food delicious and all sorts of options for specific diet needs. Staff was so cheerful and friendly! Stop at a Cracker Barrel if you are on the road. We always avoided them, dont know why,but now we will stop when on the road. Excellent !

Good service. The waitress was more than competent. We were in and out as fast as we wanted to be. Food was as good as any cracker Barrell. Fried shrimp was a bit better than most I have had in my life, hush puppies too. The cheese grits should be skipped however. Turnip greens were pretty good.

Great staff but bland food. No seasoning on steaks, eggs, or hashbrown casserole.. Steak had no flavor, chicken and dumplings had no chicken either but they managed to put cayenne pepper or paprika one in my grits. Cooks need to do a better jib, probably why it was dead on a Friday night!

We came and they said that the wait would be 20 to 25 minutes and we waited 45 minutes and my grandma complained to the manager and she said the 3rd dining area was closed because of the lack of servers so if you want to go i recomend comming not on a holiday week and if its not busy

Was never impressed with Cracker Barrel and this visit reminded me why.. Got a sampler breakfast and nothing was hot. Taste was very poor . Didnt know anyone made sausage patties that small. Used the rest of the gift card on overpriced merchandise so I dont have to go back.
