this place is the worst. i am a student at Cal U, and sometimes it gets hard to afford gas to get to school. i have sold things to this store, and i felt that the amount of money i got in return was so low that it was almost theft. to test this theory, i purchased a brand-new dvd set of the discovery channels Life series. this is an excellent series, and i purchased the set as soon as it was released. i paid $60 for it. i took it home and watched it over the weekend, and then i decided id see how much i would be offered for it - i had no intention of actually selling it. well, first of all, i was told that my transaction couldnt be completed. why? because the registers apparently close daily at 1 pm. now, i had been in the store at 1 pm before, so i knew that this was nonsense. also, why wouldnt you close the store for a couple minutes if this was the case? apparently, this process of changing over the register (ive never heard of this happening in any business at 1 pm, nor does it ever take more than a few minutes) takes an entire hour, as i was told to return at 2 pm. when i did, i had to wait approximately 15 minutes for them to look up the item, and i was offered $3 for the brand new $60 dvd set i had purchased 3 days prior. bottom line: dont support these lazy hipster-wannabes, and dont support the music and movie industries. download everything. donate your old things to other people who may want them.

Toystore Reviews
Pathetic, I have been to 100s of locally owned and big time "retro stores" this franchise is the worst, where do I begin, prices of games 30% more than I could buy them online and thats with shipping, toys thrown in a case and falling all over each other, I witnessed a MOC vintage figure have the front of the card torn due to an ill-informed employee trying to rip off a 30 year old price sticker from a hills department store. The price they offer people is insulting to say the least, brought in around $300 worth of Nes and Snes Doubles, I was offered $45 store credit, I understand you have to make a profit but that is unacceptable, I went to another local store and was offered a substantial amount more. This is the definition of a store that does it for the money and nothing else, no respect for the items or the collectors. THIS JUST IN THEY ARE NOW ATTACKING OTHER TOY STORES THAT ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO THEMSELVES
