I have successfully completed many projects purchasing lighting materials from Rittenhouse electric- for the last 13 years. Their support and extreme dedication to your satisfaction cannot be compared to any other lighting supply establishments, especially Home Depot! I worked with Marty, Mike, Adam, Beth and every one of them did their best to answer all my questions, made valuable suggestions and helped successfully implement my home projects. They return your phone calls immediately, they deliver your supplies the day you need it, they troubleshoot problems if arise, quickly and effectively. They always stand behind their products and provide immediate replacement of defective merchandise. My house has lighting fixtures, dimmers, lamps, fans and all types of controls, all carefully selected and advised on by caring sales people from Rittenhouse Electric. If you are not an electrical contractor do not walk inside this place. You will wait at the end of the line as contractors who enter after you will be served first. Unless you know the jargon of exactly what you want you will given dirty looks and be treated as if they are doing you a favor by even listening to your requests. Take the time to go to Home Depot or Loews instead. Prices will be much lower and you will be treated with some respect.

I dont know what "elepahant" is talking about. I went in as a homeowner looking for a few fixtures for my home. I was treated wonderfully by one of the owners, who made sure to lead me in the right direction. You can do your research online first to find what you like and then go in to Rittenhouse Electric to get the best deal!!
