I have been shopping at Aldi stores for over 3 years. Today, I visited the Aldi in Abington, PA. The store is generally well-kept and the cashiers are generally rushed, yet some are nice. I understand that the Aldi cashiers have to meet a quota, and I understand the business of that. However, sometimes the cashiers are less-than-careful with my delicate fruits and vegetables. What is the point of spending time selecting the best fruits and vegetables when there is a chance they will get bruised when the cashier throws them in my cart? With only one checkout line, I was forced to deal with Marilyn as my cashier. Marilyn is the worst of the produce-throwing offenders. She also always seems in a bad mood. Today, as she threw items in the cart, my wife tried to move the delicate foods to one side of the cart. Marilyn threw my 3 avocados into the corner of the cart. Then, she threw a 2-liter bottle of apple juice on top of them! This is just one of the many shocking experiences with Marilyn. My wife witnessed this while I was tending to my child. My wifes English isnt amazing and she is generally shy so she didnt know how to defend herself in this situation. Why should we have to defend ourselves? Again, I understand that quick checkouts saves ALDI money, but the money is saved sometimes at the cost of customer experience and satisfaction.

Simply put its just okay with me. A place yo find a last minute item.it was Saran Wrap yesterday and today it was 2 Lunchables to throw in the kids lunchbags for camp. No serious food shopping in this store for me.

Save so much money here. Only wish they could have a bit wider selection of inventory so I didnt have to go to Giant for a few things. This location has been clean, well-stocked, and the staff has been helpful.

This is my favorite store for almost everything. The quality is excellent, the prices are very difficult to beat...we love our local Aldi. There is a larger Aldi up the road but we prefer this one!

Cheap food and household products. No frills but stuff seems to be good quality. Sometimes there is a wait to check out when they are short-staffed but the cashiers are friendly.

Not a very good selection, I cant get everything I need most of the time. The prices are good but bring bags so you dont have to buy them as there isnt always spare boxes.
