There are very few places that offer healthy food in a non-restaurant environment with out coming off as kind of an old hippie burner shop. Nectar Cafe is one of those places, while I would say its probably best noted for its delicious coffee, the waffle and waffle sandwhich has been a smash with my friends- entirely gluten free and health conscious. This place is a must if you want to sit and drink coffee for an hour, with a vegan pastry or sandwhich. I haven;t tried many of their deserts though as I am not big on sweets.

This pace rocks! The coffee will get your heart rate up to at least 180bpm guaranteed (in a good way). Really tasty coffee, none of that watered down crap. Super friendly staff. Cozy interior, free wifi (ask for the password), cushy soft chairs. There seems to be parking right out front. Has a clean bathroom. The vegan selection is amazing, ban mi and whisky bbq tempeh wrap and booz!! mimosas and beer. cant wait to come back. I really enjoyed it here. chill crowd, mellow music.

The shop seems nice. The coffee is decent, but I cant stand the fact the staff starts closing the place up more than an hour before closing. It seems it happens every time. They dont stay open very long. And, it seems to be the case every time I am here. Today they started at 3:45 p.m. while the shop closes at 5:00 p.m. It is annoying. Makes you feel like you need to leave. All this shoveling, mopping, whatever. I dont think I will be coming back. Too bad.

Pretty good waffles, definitely worth buying than making bc its almond flour. Good value. I had jalapeno waffles, are savory and basically cream cheese and fresh jalapenos with avocado. Also had falafel waffle, much better, very moist and yummy. Coffee latte was yummy with hemp milk, A+! Good selection of vegan baked goods.

The wraps are amazing (try the falafel), and so are the beverages. Had cappuccino and hot chocolate. The deli sandwich was a tad too bland, but well made nevertheless. The greens on the side with the mint dressing were yummy! Service is great too... Christen is very nice!

Good: * cozy atmosphere/ambiance * a "just right" selection of vegan/veggie food on the menu * friendly service Bad: * nothing bad to report IMO, on my visit to the Portland area, taking all aspects into consideration, this was probably best dinner I had. Loved it!

The staff went above and beyond in customer service, and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. It has stuck in my mind how nice of an environment it was. Id highly recommend this location. If I remember the name correctly, Mila was wonderful:)

Great place for coffee in the Hollywood Neighborhood. Owner and staff are wonderful, the coffee is tasty, and the sandwiches are extra good. Really nice place to hang out or have a meeting.
