I do not live in Portland, but ordered floweres via Internet for a funeral. The arrangement specifically said it was 161/2 x 161/2. I attended the funeral and the arrangement was only about 10x10. When confronted about the size difference, they admitted that they had only sent a 10 inch basket and could not tell me why they had not filled the order as specified. However, I have figured it out. Since I was from out of town, they thought there was a good chance that I would never actually see the arrangement in person and not realize I had been cheated. They are supposedly refunding me $10 which is hardly equivilent to what I was cheated out of. There is no redo for a funeral. I dont believe these people are honest.

I had my second experience with Grand Avenue Florist today and was pleasantly surprised again. The first time was a few months back and I was pleased with the prices and the help I received from the clerk in picking out a bouquet...today I went in and received great customer service again, but this time I came in for their happy hour. Not sure when the exact times are (was in on Friday around 2:30p) but its good for half off. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great selection, service, prices...will definitely be back.

I wanted to get flowers for me and my girlfriends anniversary, I had planned on just getting something at the store and having her see them when she got home. Instead, I thought I would have some delivered to her workplace. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful, and made sure they werent delivered while she was away on her lunch break. Top notch service and a beautiful arrangement that knocks the socks off of anything you may find in a grocery store! Thanks guys!

I have dealt with Sharon and the gang for many years. If you like great flowers, wonderful people, and supporting your local businesses, this is the place for you. Even if you have no idea what you want to send or "need" to send, they will take care of it. Give them a chance. I did, and many arrangements, and deliveries later, there is no question in my mind where to go or refer people to go, for flowers...

I needed a fresh floral arrangement for my assistant. Stopped by Grand Avenue, Sharon directed me to the fresh arrangements that were in the cooler and one fit my assistant to a t! Purples, pinks and yellow....her favorite colors. It was the perfect way to show appreciation for her and support a local business! Thanks again Grand Avenue Florist.

The quality of the flowers was the best, my arrangement lasted FOREVER! The deliver EVERYWHERE, even Vancouver, I will use them for all of my floral needs! I recommended them to 2 friends who have used them in weddings too! The are family owned and super cool folks there!

I appreciate same day delivery, even with it being an extra charge. However I asked for a $50 bouquet/arrangement that didnt include roses... I got roses and what looks like a $15 bouquet from Safeway. Disappointed. Wont use this florist again.

These guys are awesome and understanding, had a person I was sending flowers to move office without me knowing. French Florist had no problem delivering to them when I finally got their address weeks later without any extra cost. Thankful!

Nice mom and pop shop. It was a little divey but its more like good ole Portland charm in my opinion. But they were so nice and helpful and the prices were great, Ill go back here for flowers and other plants whenever I can.

Grand Avenue Florist did my Grandmothers Funeral. The casket piece and standing sprays and baskets, she would have loved so see them, they were the most beautiful stargazer lilies anyone had ever seen...
