This shop has nice wine, however, the person behind the counter never greeted me, never said anything until I brought the single bottle of wine up for purchase. This is the third time I have been in this shop and I easily could have been tempted to purchase far more than what I brought up to the counter with a small amount of common courtesy that he had shown to the previous customer. Each time I was careful to wait to try to get his attention until the previous customer had left but he seemed far more interested in bookeeping than in any common courtesy such as "hello." I am convinced that he knows his stock, he knows his wines, and he knows how to sell, that was obvious from his interactions with other customers. Any bottle of wine I purchased on the three occasions was perfectly fine, never a disappointment. There is also a fine selection of reds, whites, sherries, port, and some unusual/interesting bottles. There is also a selection of interesting food items such as antipasti and chocolate. When you enter, if you are not "dressed to impress" expect only to serve yourself. Get the wine you want, get out. If you are expecting anything other than this, find somewhere else. I have been served better at Trader Joes.
