The first time I went to Central Vision Clinic ~4 years ago, the service was outstanding - best ever experienced. This last year was completely different… “Flaky” seems an accurate description of the experience… a) Forgot to do part of my exam so called me back b) Ordered a spare set of glasses – wrong lens material twice, forgot to measure my eye position until the 3rd round, still not very good at much higher cost c) Contact Lenses - lots of back and forth confusion over trying upgrade lenses; my existing contact lenses worked fine... but ended up going to more expensive set, which included "fitting fee"... after several trials of lenses that didnt work, we settled on one of the new sets. But, the doc changed the prescription to be lower than any of the samples we had tried, and ordered my annual supply without me every trying the lower level. Note - Ive not had lenses with this low of power for over 30 years. I could no longer read speed limit signs. When calling their office to inquire about why they had lowered the prescription without testing it first, the response was to offer a trial of the strength used in the “fitting.” And, said if it worked out, they would swap out the correct prescription for the incorrect order. But, when I called to ask for replacing the incorrect order. Today was told "since the box was opened we can’t return them"... but we will offer you half of the higher prescription set. #1 - how could the box not be open? and discovered they were the wrong lenses without opening? Surely this extra work is more than normal for them, which I feel is mostly due to their errors. Even the higher strength of the new brand is of lower vision quality than my previous prescription that had been working fine for 20 years. It was a big step down in vision quality. Overall the quality of peace and calm in the clinic are very nice, with a great receptionist office manager. However, the technical quality of the service seems quite flaky. I am no longer referring friends to this clinic.

I really enjoyed the service I have received from this clinic. All of the staff I came in contact with had a very positive attitude and was easy to work with. I enjoyed my time with one of the doctors named Garret. He gave me a lot of good advice and I felt that his examination was thorough. I highly recommend that anyone bring there business to this clinic.

Great to have access to quality health care locally. My exams have always been thorough. Im not sure about pricing, I only order contacts and those are paid by my insurance. Everything is clean and comfortable and the staff is super friendly.

Ive been treated by Rose at the Clinic for several years and have found her to be a very skilled professional. She listens carefully, and is pleasant to work with. The office staff are very friendly folks.
