I live within close proximity and visit this store frequently. All of my experiences at this store have been exceedingly positive! Not only do they have an excellent selection of EVERYTHING liquor, they have a vast array of mixers, bitters, wine, and beer! Their helpful, knowledgeable staff, provides excellent customer service. Its hard to read the negative comments about the owner. As a regular, I see and interact with him often. He may not always have the time to greet me, but when he does he appears to be a happy, passionate man, who works hard and loves his family/community. Btw, I am a female - and have NEVER seen or expirianced bigoted behavior from the owner or his staff. In my opinion, someone got called out on inappropriate behavior and came to the internet to lash out. Anyways.....great store selection, conveiniant location, and friendly staff......can you see why I passionatly stand behind one of my favorite small businesses in our area??

As a female, I am picky about where I buy alcohol. I am easily intimidated by selection or snobbery. I had been frequenting this little place for many years since it is manageable. It was OK, owner never friendly, sometimes a sketchy selection - but I was just buying basics. I got what I needed an got out of there. The last few times I have been in there the owner has been so nasty, downright rude. Who does this guy think he is? He is intimidating, God-like, sexist and a complete moron about alcohol. I guess the OLCC gives anyone who breathes a license to sell the most potent legal substance on Earth. There is a great place in Belmont. Worth the 10-minute extra drive to avoid the owner of this dump. This guy needs to learn some manners for sure and treat a lady like a lady!

I have been a customer of this liquor store for a couple of years now and I hereby state that I will not be ever again. The owner of this store (I believe his name is Barry) is extremely rude to customers the majority of the time, as well as his employees some of the time. Like an above reviewer has stated, he seems to go out of his way to insult almost everyone around him. I will be going to Lake Grove Liquor store (which is a really nice place), or the Macadam Liquor store in Johns Landing from now on. I would also like to mention that I have seen owner and employees sharing a bottle of whiskey behind the counter, while on work duty. This is just unprofessional.

I used to go to this liquor store until after two times I encountered the owner. The first time I caught him drinking behind the counter and thought this was very unprofessional. The second time I had to run in to quickly get something for a friends birthday and I heard the owner in the middle of a huge argument with another customer. I started to leave out of disgust and heard the owner end up calling the man the "N" word! The OLCC should not allow this man to own a store any longer.

I called ahead to ensure they carry a specific liquor and the owner said yes. I asked the price. The response was a dismissive - I dont know with a bit of "dont bother me" thrown in. I drove 30 minutes to the store only to find that they DO NOT carry the product. Again a dismissive - oh sorry with another helping of "dont bother me". OK, I wont bother you by coming back. Found BETTER selection in Beaverton. Vote with your feet. Take your business elsewhere.

Friendly people. Not sure why people are put off by the owner as I enjoy the banter. 3 Stars for the cigar selection and prices. Used to be great prices, comparable to internet. Also a %10 percent discount for 10 or more. The prices have gone up much higher than internet prices and the no longer offer the bulk discount (the sign is still up but they wont honor it). If you want cigars - try someplace else.

I just stopped at Lake Oswego Liquor Store and found it to be very well arranged for folks in wheelchairs. Once I arrived, the owner immediately came out to make sure I was able to get to everything I needed and was proud that his store was set up in an open enough layout for me to get around in my chair. Well done, sir. Oh, and the selection and prices were great as well.

The owner of this store is UNBELIEVABLY rude. He goes out of his way to be insulting and dismissive. This store would close in a heartbeat if Oregon had sane liquor laws and liquor stores were operated like every other type of store. I take my business to Mountain Park Liquor store now: very friendly, helpful and interested in keeping their customers happy.

They have a good selection of Scottish Whisky, they carry the 12 year old Glenfarclas that I was looking for as well as a 17 year old version. They had everything I wanted in one place and quick checkout service, thats all I can ask for.
