This is my first negative review ever for anything. Ive purchased glasses from Visionworks at least three times and always bought two pairs since the second pair is at a discount. So must have spent a good $2,000 there. Neither of the last two pairs of glasses that I last purchased worked out. I returned there about ten days AFTER the 30 day guarantee expired. Since you try and adjust to your glasses for at least two weeks it is really like a two week return policy. Anyway I was outside the return policy time frame and there is no flexibility, no budging, no nothing. Also they looked at my glasses and said they were fine. The eye doctor there looked at my glasses and my eyes and he also said they were fine. But meanwhile I went and bought a magnifying glass to help me see close up and cannot wear them to see the computer monitor at work AT ALL nor to read books or magazines AT ALL so basically I have two very expensive long distance glasses for driving and movies. The place is a factory and you can expect to wait in line for long periods of time and while you will be treated courteously by the staff just be aware that there will be no real consideration if you have a problem like I did. Today I was at a different optometry (eye wear) shop and they could see that my lenses were set too low in the frames. After about 9 months Im still pretty frustrated so thought I would share this so you can have my experience in mind when you are deciding if you want to spend your hard earned money there (or not). Im not saying they are worse than any other production factory business that stands by its rules (and profits)regardless of the disappointment that a loyal customer might experience, they are probably average and I admit that I should have returned there ten days sooner, but for the thousands Ive spent there it sure hasnt been worth it.

After getting the eye exam by a qualified Optometrist with more than 30 years experience within the same building, I ordered a buy one get one free deal. After receiving the glasses and getting it fit I took it home, after wearing the glasses I noticed my eyes were hurting and getting really tired easily, upon inspection the lenses were made and fitted to close to the eyes and also at an angle, at first its not noticeable but the angled view through the lens was causing a strain affecting my personal well being, it took them 14 days to deliver my glasses when it was first made and it took them almost a month for them to reorder the lenses and remake them correctly! I will never do business with this company again including all of my employees needing glasses! They seemed like nice sales people but lying with a smile only goes so far and creates unhappy customers!

Please believe the bad reviews... I went here only because they can bill my insurance direct, Americas Best cant. To spare you the whole story they were rude, impatient and charging way to much for services I have never heard of. When I asked them why, the response was only, "it is office policy". When I said well I can go to this place and all of that is included they replied with, then maybe I should go there. I left feeling ripped off, pissed off and disappointed I didnt walk out. Update- I went somewhere else to get my glasses due to the horrible service, $ 400 later buying 3 new pairs of glasses I find out the prescription Vision Works did was wrong !!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE

I have had my glasses for years and years. I keep my frames and go in annually to have my lenses changed out. Recently, my plastic frames ended up under a rocking chair! They didnt break, but they were severely warped. I went into Visionworks on my lunch break and Dave immediately fixed them and got me on my way. They sit better than they have in a very long time and it took hardly any time out of my day.

Ive had my eyes checked 4 times and each time the prescription would cause headaches but I got my eyes checked here and my glasses here a few weeks ago and so far its been perfect!! Also the people who work there were super helpful and patient about me picking out glasses, I took like 40minutes lmao but they didnt even mind :))

The eye doctor was very descriptive of what he was going to do. The visit was pleasant. The staff showed me which frames my insurance covered so that I was looking at what was covered. Will go back soon for next exam!

Boo on vision works.... Go ahead make their day and waste your money. Poor quality frame and lenses. Both pair are in the kitchen junk drawer, missing an arm. Bout 600 $ down a hole

Got two pairs of glasses and love them. Had something oily on the lenses after a couple months started to show up. Took them in to get cleaned and problem solved just thats easily.
