I thought I had found a good alternative to Schwabs for tires on my commuter car. The first time I went into the West 11th store was great. They sold me the tires I wanted and didnt try to upsale a bunch of stuff I didnt want. This time wasnt quite as pleasant. I bought two more tires and even received some money off for mileage warranty. When I went to leave I was handed one of my lug nuts and told it broke off when they were changing the tires. He showed me that it tightened down to the wheel then broke off flush. The best part is they told me it broke because it was "gummed up" from when I rotated the tires myself. He then recommended someplace for me to take it to get fixed, at my own expense! I asked how in the hell is it my responsibility to fix a lug nut that they broke off?? Thats B.S. If the threads were messed up the how did he not only take the lug nut off but put it all the way back on before it broke. How great is that, not only do they break something on my car but then they blame me for it! Thats horrible customer service over an $8 wheel stud. Needless to say I wont be visiting the Eugene West 11th store again.

Bought four tires for 318$ and two werent even round. I knew immediately after driving off the lot something was wrong. I came back and they tested them and said it was all ok and put them back on my car. Went to schmunks and they put it on their balancing machine and could tell immediately I got bad tires and 2 of them WERENT ROUND. So I went back a 3rd time and by now I was late to work. I told them I wanted a refund and that this was bullshit. Spent two hrs their earlier for the tires to not even be round. The kid at the front told me thats what I get for buying cheap tires. I call bullshit because the damn things should ATLEAST be round especially brand new. The reason i gave more than one star is because they have me better tires free of charge and Im just a nice person. So just be careful everyone! I know this is my last experience with them

Great Price, Great Service. Ive purchased my tires here exclusively over the last 4 years. They have always beat Les Scwabbs Prices, and give me just as good of services. They even honored a warantee that another store never added after I blew a brand new tire. They just know how to take care of people, and dont screw around with the prices either. Ill keeping buying here for sure. UPDATE: I just called Les Schwabb to see if they would take care of a tire swap for me since I now life 45 mins away from Americas Tire.. they quoted me almost $40 more, and wouldnt match the price even when I told them Id show them a receipt. Im not going to pay more money for the same tires/services from Les Schwabb, when Americas Tire can give me the same or better service for significantly less.

My car tires were very worn down and on there last limb. With winter here money has been tight and I dreaded seeing how much it would cost to get my old tires replaced with a set of new tires I had purchased over the summer. After taking a trip to Les Shwab and calling some other companys I stopped by Discount Tire and after hearing their price to swap the tire I knew I could only afford 1 tire at the time which I was okay with. When they were able to get my car in the associate who helped me had approached me and let me know that they would be willing to switch them all out for me and gave me a hand up. It was a great feeling that this company put their customers before their money and extended a helping hand. Thank you Danny and the Discount Tire crew for your services.

This is the only place that I go to buy tires. I used to be a big Les Schwab fan, but I feel that theyve changed a lot over the last 20 years and they seem more corporate and their prices dont seem as good as they used to be. I priced out similar 65,000 miles tires recently. Les Schwab quoted me over $1,100. Discount Tire was $800 and I got an $80 mail in rebate. I have attached both sets of paperwork to this post Les Schwab had to order the tires and Discount Tire had them in stock. The best part of DT is their service. I was in a real bind a few weeks ago. I blew a tire and had to drive to Ashland the next morning. I walked in with 20 minutes to closing and they said "no problem. We will get those tires on your truck right now."

I have never been disappointed with the customer service or work done here. It hasnt mattered what my request was - if they could help or tell me who could - they would. Everyone is extremely kind and down to earth. In my opinion they have taken the lead in tire and wheel service over Les schwabs hands down. Almost every time Kyle has helped me out and his cheerful and quick service is refreshing. It is an art to make spending that kind of money enjoyable and Kyle and the rest of the guys there are professionals at doing just that. Not to mention - their prices compete with any internet deal I have ever come across, and were $60-100 below their LS competition per tire.

This place needs to screw their head on. We were told the motorhome would be done by 1pm... its 1:45 and there are just people standing around doing nothing... way too many kids work here and they are busy racing/ reving up their engines behind the building. Completely unacceptable! Directly after I posted this a worker off the clock decided to drive by the hubcap from the motorhome backed up, then put his truck in drive and proceeded to hit the hubcap with his truck.. are you kidding me!! Final update almost 3 hrs later we are heading home which is about 8 hrs away. What a waste of my time!!

My husband was told when buying snow tires in January theyd rotate from daily to snow tires and back for free since were such good customers (using the same rims). Wife takes car in late March and am told "no they have special sensors and its $94.00". Paid the $94.00 feeling taken advantage of..do they go back on their word or do they treat women differently?? Went to Les Schwab and asked about their rotation fee. .. they said its free even tho they do have the sensors.... Lesson learned.. go to Les Schwab instead.

Like most tire places they are willing to bend over backwards to get your business the first time, but tend to treat potential return customers in a different manner. Make sure you read the "Road Hazard" Fine print- it is only good for 3 years or until the tread is legal, whichever comes first. They are more honest and a better value than Les Schwab, but in the end the level of personal service leaves something to be desired. Not a bad place to buy tires, but not great either.
