I was a regular at this store ever since I moved to Hillsboro Oregon last summer. I have spent hundreds of dollars there (if not more) and recommended it to many of my friends. Last Friday I went in, just like most Fridays, grabbed a fifth and went to the counter. It was my dads birthday that Saturday so I asked for 2 pints of Pendleton to go in his gift basket. The very young looking boy at the counter told me he could not serve me before I even handed him my ID. When I asked him why, he said because his manager told him he couldnt. Why? I asked again, but he gave me the same answer. "Who is the manager?" But he wouldnt give me an answer. I was sure it was some kind of misunderstanding. I am almost 24 and I went there straight after work in my business clothes. I have NEVER showed up intoxicated nor have I ever caused a scene. I dont think Ive ever even asked the staff a question other than small talk at the cash register. His nervous glances to his right made me realize that the older lady with the dirty blonde and graying hair must be the manager. When I confronted her she told me, "Not today honey". BUT WHY, I shop here ALL THE TIME?! and then with a smug smile on her face she said "I dont have to give you a reason." I was in shock and Ill admit I did mumble the "C" word as I left. TERRIBLE STORE - DO NOT GO THERE - TELL YOUR FRIENDS NOT TO GO THERE! Her name is Sandy Briant and there is something really wrong with her. Ill never go back there again even though the next closest liquor store from my house is over twice the distance.

I noticed some tobacco and asked if they have pipe cleaners. The cashier stared at me blankly until I explained that a pipe cleaner is disposable tool for cleaning a tobacco pipe, pointing to tobacco. I was advised to go to a "craft store." Prices on liquor here are nothing special. When I explained not all deaf "cant hear" some have distorted hearing, for instance, HYPERACUSIS means EXTREME SENSITIVITY TO SOUND, the cashier not only yelled at me but accused me of faking deafness, then burst into tears, holding up the line, while I continued to wait (unemotionally) for her to charge my card and let me out of there. I never did get a receipt. The attitude in this state licensed store toward deaf or anyone who cannot immediately respond to the clerks usual spiel is atrocious. At this point, even if they were giving it away, I would not go back in there for any reason.

This liquor store has tremendous service and the best single malt scotch selection in Washington County. Any negative reviews must have come from a disgruntled former employee or something as all my friends go here and everyone is MORE THAN SATISFIED. The staff are all well informed about all spirits and endeavor to help customers make the most intelligent choices based upon the customers needs rather than price of product. Go there and find out for yourself!

You fired the only employee in the whole store that I liked. Im extremely disappointed. I will not be coming back to this store anymore and neither will any of my friends. Ive seen some other employees working who looked totally high or trashed and Ive heard stories about weed sells and whatnot here too. Very unprofessional. Shake my head....

This place is a joke riped me off when i called them on it they told me i was mistaken these people are liars and they have employees working for them that like to steal cigarette s and they get away with it this is the biggest joke of a store ive ever seen

Its small, but its got pretty much everything you need. ...and a surprisingly robust selection of Scotch, considering the size. If youre looking for rows and rows of wines, this isnt the place for you, but if you need spirits, this will work just fine.

Great staff and good selection. I have been going there many years now and will keep going back. They know what they are talking about and always make you feel good when you leave. They are open later and more than most places around here as well.

When we want some good Whiskey, this is the place we go. Its a little store, but they always have the good stuff! People are nice and its quick and efficient. Kudos!
