This Gujarati shop owner should be jailed for playing with peoples health. Not only he sells expired products, but he tries to fool customers by scratching the expiry date of perishable products. He is full of bullshit and he does not even care to greet (say hello/hai) the customers. This is the most expensive store in Tulsa, I kindly request you not to shop in this store, full of expired stuff and prices are very expensive. A BIG RIP OFF IF YOU PLAN TO SHOP HERE (LAXMI SPICES OF INDIA). I bought a meat tenderizer powder from this store, after I went home, I opened it immediately and I noticed there were bugs inside the powder, with the bad smell. I further noticed that this was expired, because the shop owner removed the expiry date, which I did not see while I am purchasing from this store. I went to the store to return this item. The owner (OLD GUY) is impolite, brutish, uncivilized; he did not accept this item and did not refund me or even exchange the product. With vulgar looks, owner started arguing with me, that bugs came into the powder, because I did not keep my house clean (hygienic). Owner (Old Guy) did not even care or apologize. He was rude, arrogant, disrespectful and ignorant about the customer service. He forgets I have a choice to shop at other stores. His body language, attitude, and behavior are highly unacceptable at all. As other reviewers have pointed out, this store sells very poor quality products, old and stale. I have shopped at many Indian stores in different parts of the country and I have never had the issue I am having with this store. Very worst store. All items are old and expired. There are no expiry dates on products. Dont go to this store. The shop owner is selling expired products this will definitely ruin your health. Please be aware of EXPIRED products. Definitely gives Indians a bad name!!! I wouldnt recommend this store.

I WONT recommend this store to anyone. VERY VERY expensive. As the first reviewer said, theyre keep on increasing the price and I bought the same things cheap in the expensive store in my state (We have only one indian store in our region and people call that as very expensive store). I didnt think these laxmi spices will charge me this much. I paid $44 for things which cost only $20 in the nearby store. Shame on me. Didnt check the prices before billing. The best part is they didnt stick price tag in almost all of the items. I thought its the same or less price than the store I bought normally in my region. BAD BAD store. Wont go there ANYMORE and wont recommend it to anyone. GREEDY people. Cant get rid of this feeling for a long time. So many foods are expired. I think I wasnt in good mood that day. Didnt check the expired date and the pricing. My bad!!

One of the worst Indian Grocery store in the United States. He was selling all the Expired Items which are 2-3 years old. We went to buy Horlicks Jr and it was expired few months back. When questioned , he said its up to me take it or not. People come and take the Expired items. What happenes if someone didnt see the date and consumed the food, they will be in the Hospital. The owner is very rude and has lot of attitutde. These kinds of things are not encouraged in our community. We should report these problems to FDA as early as possible and request them to take action. Shame on them

I had a great experience here. The owner was friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions. Although some items were on the pricey side, I got a gorgeous steel wok for $20! You just have to know where to go for the best price. Several of the spices were an absolute steal compared to buying at a mainstream grocery store. I would go back.

Very expensive. All these spices and snacks are sold in Dallas for half the prices. For example a box of shan masala is $1 here and 50 cents in Dallas. Yes I understand there is a bigger market there, and not enough business here. But we really need a bigger fresher grocery store as I know there are a lot of desis here.

I enjoy this store for several reasons. One is I can buy spices much cheaper than at my local grocery store (but you do buy it in bulk). Also, I like to cook and they have sell seasoning packages that help me make authentic tasting Indian food and the owners have even given me recipes to try.

So what Indian grocery is available in Tulsa ok. Should I drive 4 hrs to Dallas. Check expiry and buy the product. Indian population is less in Tulsa compared to Dallas. Do you have any other option in Tulsa ?

Yes, Everything in this store is high priced. But we buy the Stick cinnamon from them because its a way better priced and theres a lot of it. Then paying $4 for a small bottle of it at Walmart.

It will be cheaper to drive to OK City and buy Indian foods than to buy here. All items are very expensive. We go to Asian Mart on 31st Street to buy most Indian/Asian foods.

Most of the products are expired. Owner either hide expiry date by sticking own price / date tag or scratch off the date. Most of the products expensive. Poor quality...

Most of the stuff are stale and sometimes if there is something free on one stuff the owner declines to give it to you. I found the service very unprofessional.

Beware when you visit this place. The food would be expired in most cases, the prices would be Exorbitantly high and the owner is not at all friendly
