I only say ok, instead of a better rating. Because the prices are high, except for the sale item prices in their weekly advertisement flyer. Without the wonderful Pharmacy inside (Hometown Pharmacy) Sparkles would only receive three stars. Another positive is fresh baked goods and their hot food section in the deli is exceptional. But, when it comes down to it, their prices are just way too high on general grocery items. Quick in a pinch because its close, yet never what I do my weekly shopping there unless I wanted to just give money away, they are locally owned which I do like and understand everyone has to make a living but when the difference between shopping here and a large conglomerate such as Wal-mart means six more bags of groceries, it kind of speaks for itself.

Prices are good depending on what youre buying but quite a bit can be found cheaper elsewhere. Employer of special needs, usually (if not, always) an officer posted in-store. Being a pedestrian in the parking lot can be dangerous if youre not extra careful (they have made entrance/exit changes which has helped improve safety). Flower shop, pharmacy, butcher, deli, hot foods, bakery - everything youd need in one building.
