Im not normally someone who writes reviews online, but my poor experience at Cracker Barrel this morning warrants one. I arrived with my family (five adults and one baby) and we requested a table for five. The restaurant was quite busy, and there appeared to be some consternation about finding a table for our group. No problem - we were happy to wait. Before we went outside to wait, the hostess indicated to me (with vague impatience) that we needed a table for six. I replied that we didnt need a sixth chair - we can easily hold our baby, and usually do at restaurants as she is too small for a high chair. She is a baby, not a toddler. Now in most restaurants, this is where the hostess would say, "Are you sure?" or "Okay, no problem." But not at Cracker Barrel. The hostess looked at me with inarguable condescension and said, "Well, shes not going to sit on the floor." The tone made it sound like, "Shes not going to sit on the floor, you moron." I was shocked. Since when do hostesses mouth off to customers who voice a harmless comment? I replied, "I know shes not going to sit on the floor," (also thinking - what is wrong with you?) and at that point, realizing she had made a mistake, the hostess tried to cover with some rambling explanation of their policy concerning high chairs for children. Now remember, all we were trying to do was have breakfast. Long story short, we didnt let it ruin our morning, and we had a pleasant breakfast (though one other bizarre moment - our server, a very nice young woman, informed me with some embarrassment that their cooks preferred not to poach eggs. The oddness of that speaks for itself). Anyway, I cant imagine why a hostess would be so blatantly rude and obnoxious to a customer. Note to Cracker Barrel management: you are here to earn the loyalty of your customers - not try to belittle and talk down to them. There are a lot of other places to eat breakfast in the area that arent rude to customers.

People act like they dont want to work there, dont pay attention to what you are saying, my order was not completed and then changed for coffee that was forgotten. Did take off the bill. Went there again on the way back home. NO change. Asked for round table, was told no none available rudely. Asked to be seated near a window and he seats us at a table in the middle that was so small for four adults. With the oil lamp and other things on the table, I had no room. I let the other three eat while I looked around and got a coffee to go, which I paid for. I enjoy Cracker Barrel, and always leave complement. But, I will never go this one again, I will find someplace else to go. Was not busy both times.

The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the staff was very friendly. Other than that , the food was horrible. I ordered a big breakfast (sirloin steak , eggs , grits , biscuits , hash browns , && gravy) all the food appeared to be old or premade. My potatoes were crusty on the top and soft in the middle as if they had been sitting out all morning then thrown in the microwave for a warm up. I asked for my steak to be prepared medium , of course I got it well done. I asked for my eggs scrambled with cheese. I got what appeared to be something like an omelet with a little cheese. Food was awful. Will never be returning to cracker barrell. Well at least not this location

We used to really enjoy this cracker barrel, but the quality of the service, food, and management has dramatically decreased in recent years; more so in this past year. Weve been visiting this location for twenty some years. When we query managenent, a certain male manager just complains about his staff issues. So unprofessional. My mother in law wanted to have lunch here today, and we waited not less than 20 minutes just to be acknowledged at our table after being seated, and then waited a other 10 minutes for coffee! Just horrible.

I love Cracker Barrel and this location is consistently a good experience. If you know the chain then this is a safe bet--faster than average seating and servings times. Even had a new waitress who was fantastic. For those not familiar, this is worth the stop. Great menu with lots of choices for home cooked flavor at great prices. Typically Cracker Barrel isnt a quick stop but this location is on the quicker side (easy to be in and out under an hour). We rarely have to wait here unlike other locations.

My husband ate here 2-3 days a week for breakfast. A little over a year ago the food quality became poor & he quit going. We both went back last week to try it again & again bad results. Cashier told us they get a lot of complaints w quality of food (not cooked to order). That should tell management a thing or 2. Wont return to this particular one.

Nice comfort food place, good service, and surprisingly low prices. Food is tasty, and I highly recommend Mommas Pancake Breakfast at ANY time of day. Scrambled eggs can be a bit bland, but nothing a little salt and pepper cant help. Great little trinket store to look through as well, some pretty cool nostalgic items

Its a great place to stop for a bite! Its usually not quick at this location. Plus there are better "bang for your buck" places in Twinsburg. Breakfast? Try fresh start diner. Lunch/dinner? Go to Ravs. Service is friendly, and its what you expect for cracker barrel.

The food was very good, had the fried chicken breasts. My waitress I think was a former fast pitch softball player... She pitched the food at me...young...what can you do? Maybe she was new and nervous. Have to give her due Credit for at least working..

I have been going to this restaurant about once a month. For the most part it has been very nice. But i notice the staff in the evening is a lot more friendly and respectable. Whenever I stop in during the day I dont feel my patronage is appreciated.

Took an hour to get our food and the manager didnt even take anything off the bill. Service was slow and overall a terrible experience. Food was served cold and made my family and I sick. Will never go there again. Please avoid this restaurant!

I was disappointed because I had been looking forward to the Campfire roast beef meal and we were there at around 12:30 and they informed me they were out of the roast beef meal and they only had chicken. That has never happened to me before.

We go at least once a month, food is okay, service depends on the waiter your assigned. But they are usually friendly. Never a delay in being served. We dont expect much, so we dont have any complaints. This our favorite location.

Ribeye steak was very tasty and cooked just the way I asked. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. A fire was burning in the huge wood burning fireplace. Very cozy. The wooden chairs are very uncomfortable.

Jackie made our morning. Very helpful with our order, making suggestions that saved me a couple of dollars and went towards her tip. Excellent service and food. The place was crowded but the service was not lacking.
