On top of being tremendously uninterested and rude, most of the employees that have been present the past 6 months are some of the most unfriendly bunch working within Plain City businesses. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave, the environment is stale and the checkout employees dont make it any better. Everytime, you either deal with an angered or condescending employee. They dont ring up the prices correctly or consistently as half the time a "three for three" deal will allow a single item of said deal to be purchased individually for a dollar while the other half of the time they ring up a single item for a price thats not part of the deal. It would be tolerable if things were rung up the same way with every cashier, as that would create an expected continuity, but that is not the reality. And, lastly, as can be seen on one of the pictures posted for this business, they recently have little makeshift signs taped to their cash registers stating that no cash can be given back. Now, it is not within my knowledge the exact meaning and implications of such signs. But, upon first notice of such signs, the first impression given off is that you must either have exact change or pay via a card. Now, it could have meant that you cant select the "cash back" option when paying with a card, but as seen by my confusion, the sign is not clear. And, to add insult to injury, the cashier didnt do more than give me a blank, dead stare as I struggled to come up with exact change after not only reacting to seeing the aforementioned sign, but also to the fact that the individual item I had that was part of a "3 for 3" deal was now rung up as $1.34. To top it all off, when I inquired on just exactly how and why the "3 for 3" deal was not rung up as such, I got a bland, condescending remark about the fact that its rung up like such because you have to get three of such item to do so. If a dead environment, inconsistent checkout policies, and employees who act like youre bothering them by checking out or asking them a question (doing their job) is what youre looking for, then this is the place for you are looking for!

Theres a lady who has worked here for awhile now. But dont ask her anything, like do have this ? Bc you will get * I dont know * she has no clue. I was here yesterday I inquired about something and a price. She said * I dont know * shoved the price list at me. I think she plays dumb bc honestly shes lazy. Its so annoying . The younger girl she knows alot but she does stock it. Just dont ask the older cashier lady youll get * I dont know *

There is but two employees here that dont treat me like garbage. If youre coming here for a non-edible item, good luck finding it near its correct price tag. This place is a mess. Cheap, corporate garbage. Many times it takes over 2 minutes for the cashier to show up at the register. I mean, they really take their time. Overall a bad experience unless Im looking for some sort of food or cheap candy.

The store has clutter in the aisles, the parking lot is filthy and littered with trash and cigarette butts, and management gas refused to clean any of the mess despite multiple complaints from the community.
