terrible. ordered from the bakery and my six year old sister could have done better. the supervisor of the woman writing on the cake asked her if she could handle it and she said yes and then went on doing something else. I was the only one in line and I watched her write on my cake. I wrote down what I needed to be in icing. When she handed me my cake I was completely amazed. Amazed that someone would hand me a cake that looked that bad and expect me to buy it. Even one of the names was spelled wrong! So, I went to the check out to tell the manager that I was not going to buy something that terrible. Everyone, except the store manager, said I should not have to pay for something that bad. However, he said that he could only discount the price of the cake. I told him I would not pay for that. He then proceeded to take the cake back to the bakery department without telling me what he was doing. So, I waited an extra 15 minutes, was late to the event the cake was needed for, and had to pay full price for the cake that had only been iced over the original, bad, cake. So, with the inch of icing, and the horrible cake itself, no one ate the cake. I was extremely disappointed, taken advantage of because of my age, and out 15 dollars. Do not let underqualified bakers write on cakes and work on your customer satisfaction. I have warned several of my friends and family to not buy from this bakery and I know I will not. So, thank you.

Dont get your prescriptions filled here unless you want to wait 40 minutes JUST TO DROP IT OFF. I pulled in to the drive through and waited 25 minutes. I would have pulled out and went inside after the first 5 minutes but someone pulled in behind me and trappped me in. Once I finally got pulled up to the window I waited an additional 5 minutes with no acknowledgement while they chatted on the phone. So I decided to go inside. BIG MISTAKE. I then waited an additional 10 minutes inside. When I finally handed my prescription over, which took all of 5 seconds, and explained the ridiculousness of all the waiting I had to do I was told I had to wait an additional 30 MINUTES. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! All I want is my eye drops so I can go home!

Kroger must be doing something to improve their bottom line that is having a negative impact on employees. I seems like no one is happy or wants to be there. The attempts to be friendly are tainted with the obvious signs of animosity. Those employees stocking shelves often act as if I am in their way when I want to get something from the shelf that is even near the one theyre working on. Often, there are few carts available so Ive gotten into the habit of getting a cart from the parking lot. Kroger has decent products & pricing but Giant Eagle would take my business if they move in.

This Kroger does not have the selection that I would like but it is the closest grocery to me and we use their gas because of the discounts. I hate that they are always moving things around and I have to look for them and lately they have stopped carrying quite a few of the brands I buy regularly so I will start shopping further away for some of my weekly purchases. I dont have any problem with pharmacy, bakery or any particular department but I do have my favorite employees that I look for good service from. I think the best cashier is Lydia.

Quite possibly the best Kroger Ive ever visited. Things are typically well stocked. Staff are amazingly polite and go out of their way to help. Checkout is almost uncomfortably fast, Ive never had to wait more than a minute, even on weekends. State liquor store inside along with good beer/wine selection. My only ding is that the international section is a little thin. Tortillas and Soy Sauce do not make a section "international." I usually end up holding my breath and going to Meijer when I need something something unique.

The only grocery store in town so its always crowded. Thankfully they usually have plenty of registers open. I do like their selection of organics. However they are frequently out of items I use often such as garlic, cilantro, jalapenos. Rotisserie chicken isnt something you should count on either on a busy night after 4 or 5- they run out. Overall its ok- I try to just go here for items in between my bigger grocery trips or for things I cant find at Aldi.

I love that they label most all of the whole store with gluten free tags. The natural food section is decent. Produce and meats are fresh. Most all of the Kroger brand food is as good or better than the name brand. Especially their 100% whole wheat pasta, carbmasters yogurt, cereals, 100% whole wheat flour, 100% whole wheat white flour and the natural peanut butter to name a few. The people are very friendly as is the Starbucks baristas.

Always shop here for food and they are always well staffed. there is usually no long wait in lines to pay for your food and the store is set up nicely. Big tip dont forget your rewards card or you will add more money on your bill then nessisary. If you go online you can add coupons onto your rewards card to save even more money. Nice place ,great staff, nice family location to shop at

I go to Kroger mainly because it is the closest grocery store to me. And I use their Pharmacy which I believe is phenomenal . The meat in Kroger is always very fresh. But they seem to be changing what they carry far too often and when you do find something that you like they seem to stop carrying it almost as quickly as they started to . This applies to human and animal products.

I hope the Pataskala Kroger continues to allow the deli dept. to be dirty most of the time and let there customers stand alone at the counter while employees enjoy personal conversations or play the why dont you wait on the next person "I am busy" game. I just buy more and more from GIANT EAGLE. Its worth the extra gas I use.

New Kroger Marketplace is a nice addition to shopping in Newark. I was a bit surprised though that inventory was very heavy on apparel, and less on other housewares (such as rugs, furniture, decor) compared to other Marketplace stores Ive visited.

Nice grocery store with deep ties to the community. I think everyone in town has either worked there or knows someone who works there. They have a nice selection and friendly staff. Shop here every week go to the Starbucks inside almost every day.

I love Kroger, so i may be a little biased. However, i have never had a problem here; check out is speedy, lines are never long, deli is fast and kind, stock employees always greet with a smile and offer help, etc.

Clean and well kept. Good customer service. A little more expensive than other stores (like meijer or aldi), but thats not unusual for a kroger. You cant beat the fuel rewards on gift cards.
