I will not have a tattoo done by anyone but these guys. I had a fairly large back piece done in Tennessee years ago before I knew about Joel. I was extremely unsatisfied with my original tattoo and I needed some help fixing/finishing it. I approached Joel with several ideas to clean it up to a level of satisfaction that I could live with. Joel was very receptive to my ideas and expanded on them with an attitude that made me very confident that I chose the right artist. I was extremely impressed and satisfied in the end. So much so, that I later got another large tattoo on my arm by Joel and again, he helped me understand what I really wanted from my base idea. I cant thank him and his shop enough. From the beginning to the end, it was pleasure to have Joel and his staff focus beyond what I wanted in a tattoo and to help me have a really cool overall experience. Hes an extremely capable artist but even more importantly...his staff are amazing people with great attitudes that make me feel that I cant go wrong getting a tattoo from them. Im looking forward to getting more work done in the future. Thanks Joel!

When I walked into The Inkwell Tattoo Company I was instantly impressed with the professional atmosphere that the tattoo artists presented in the shop. The store is very clean, there isnt a bunch stuff all over the walls, and its very well lit. The tattoo artists all treated me with respect, and not to mention they are all extremely talented at what they do, especially Joel, the artist who worked on me. The Inkwell Tattoo Company is hands down the best tattoo shop around. If you are looking for a shop run by professionals who will treat you with respect and who love what they do, then this shop is the one for you. They get 10 out of 10 stars without a doubt. Anyone who wants work done in the future NEEDS to go to The Inkwell Tattoo Company. You wont be disappointed.

Chris did an eye piece on my upper left arm, and it is beyond what i could have asked for. All of the colors he used go together so well, and are layered nicely. Also the line work is sharp! He is an awesome tattoo artists and a cool guy! I came to him with an idea and dude knocked it out! my set was about two hours and he made me feel better when it was really painful. I would strongly recommend making an appointment with him!! Oh and BTW the shop is super clean and really nice, and everyone there was really cool!

Had my first tattoo done today by Joel. When I went in to the shop for a consultation the shop was clean, all the artists greeted me and were very helpful. Joel did an outstanding job on my forearm and when he was done he was helpful on how to help with the healing process. Very detailed and personable.
