I wasnt very impressed, and I did not get a tattoo there after all. I went in with a picture for an idea as a cover up to a tattoo I currently have on my arm. The current tattoo is small, and I wanted the cover up to ultimately be a half-sleeve. This is a huge decision for a person like me who doesnt have many tattoos. I spoke with one of the artists (I wont mention him by name so as not to bad-mouth him) who said he would be happy to draw something for me. I left him a cash deposit to do the drawing and made an appointment to come in 3 days later. When I showed up for my appointment, there were at least 6-7 guys sitting around in the shop. The artist saw that I was there, and just continued to talk and joke around with the other guys in the shop (who were not even getting tattoos). I sat down and waited. The artist then went ahead and stepped out to smoke a cigarette before speaking to me. When he came back in, he frantically searched all throughout the shop for the drawing he did for me, to no avail. Another employee eventually admitted to throwing the drawing away (really???). The artist showed me a couple of drawings that he said he did for me, which were nothing like what I wanted to get. He said he could re-draw the drawing that was thrown away and I could come back in an hour. I agreed and left the shop. I immediately called my husband and told him what happened, and he and I agreed that it was completely unprofessional and that its probably not a good idea to go back. After all, this was not going to be some small tattoo - it was going to be a half sleeve. I had my husband call and cancel the appointment, which the artist seemed annoyed about. I understand that he was annoyed - but think of how I felt, taking the time out of my day to drive all the way over there for an appointment, and my drawing wasnt even done. The drawing I paid for, by the way (I did not ask for my money back - I just didnt want to go back there). I just felt like I didnt matter as a customer there. I also think that the artist might have forgotten to draw the tattoo, although I cant be certain. I am just not sure why anyone would throw away a drawing in a tattoo shop. I think that if the artist had taken a moment to step back and understand that its scary for a person who doesnt have a lot of tattoos to just go ahead and trust someone to put a half-sleeve on them for life, then maybe he would have been a little different towards me. I went to another shop, where I was treated completely different. Everyone there was very professional and kind. The artist actually traced my arm as well as the old tattoo so that he can draw it exactly as it will look. It was nice that they took the time to treat me as a customer. I am sure that it isnt always this way at Harris. From what I understand, the owner does great work and is very professional. Unfortunately, he was not available to do my tattoo. This was just my experience with one artist. I dont want to give them a bad review because I am sure everyone there is extremely talented...I just think they need a little work on their customer service and to make sure that drawings dont get thrown away, especially when they were paid for. Getting a tattoo is a big deal for some people and is a process that shouldnt be approached carelessly.

By far one of the worst shops I have ever set foot in.. The "help" was a bunch of unfriendly adolescents that clearly didnt know their head from their asses. The sketch that was shown to me WAS NOT what ended up being tattooed on me!! Not only was I not shown the design prior to it being covered up, but the process to which they covered it was appalling. Once I took the bandage off, I couldnt believe my eyes. I have been tattooed more times than the boy who did it, and I hold higher standards than what they could ever provide. The "artist" was clearly more interested in going to get high with his friends instead of doing quality work, which is not only terrible for paying customers like myself, but a shame considering it is his fathers shop and his name is on the sign. I will end up getting this monstrosity of a tattoo covered up. I will never recommend this shop to anyone ever, which is sad. I have never written a bad review, or any review for that matter on any shop or business of any kind, until today. I would have left no stars if it was a possibility.

AMAZING experience! We stopped here while on vacation, hoping for a last minute tattoo. The man at the front desk, Jimmy, was quick to help us and very informative. The owner (Harris, dont remember first name unfortunately) then came out and designed my mothers tattoo. He was extremely friendly, patient and interactive with my mother, sister and I. The rest of the boys continued to work while they talked to us the whole time and were very friendly. Then, I decided I wanted a tattoo, and sweet Jimmy surprised me with a drawing, and Harris stayed two hours after closing hours to make sure I got it done. He worked with me on price, size, and color... and had absolutely no complaints the entire time, even though he ended up staying late for me. Overall, it was an excellent experience (much better than other tattoo shops in the same area). Tattoos turned out amazing and customer service was on point!!! Would definitely recommend.

So disappointed with my experience at this shop. The guy who did my tattoo spelled a word wrong, then told me to come back when it healed and he would fix it. (My fault I didnt catch the spelling before, but I was to focused on telling the guy that the word was to close together & unreadable.) THEN when I came back another employee told me that the guy who did my tattoo left the shop. (A few days after he told me hed fix it) I was then told by another employee he would fix it but hed have to charge me shop minimum. The same night I was told by the owner he would fix it for free & Ive been trying for a week now & he keeps blowing me off. I dont usually take time to post reviews but I thought everyone should know how unprofessional this place is.

When you go to Harris ink. Get a Harris named employee they are professional and the work lasts forever, when Scott or Marshall does the tattoos of course. My tattoos are 10+ plus years old still have all its color, the detail still has that rough pattern on skin where you can still feel the lines in the details Gotta love hard handers, even includes great pricing. Scott is detailed and does portraits he also has done tattoos for Sum41, Anna Nicole Smith and Limp Bisqite but still a great artist. Marshall is in it all. The son and prodigy of Scott Harris. Anyone who gives a bad review obviously hasnt had the pleasure of working with the actual Harriss in the ink world.
