One of the worst customer service experiences Ive dealt with. I placed a pricey online order - which was supposed to be delivered BY yesterday. I checked the shipment tracking when I didnt get a pickup notification -- it actually arrived at the store the day before. However when I called to inquire, they dont know where it is. But thats not even why Im writing this review. It took me multiple calls throughout the day to even get through to someone to field my question. I was constantly transferred around, with no one owning the call -- and often placed on hold and simply forgotten about. At one point when I called back, I was hung up on all together. When I called again and began with "Maam, my call was just disconnected -- please dont put me on hold..." I was immediately cut off and put back on hold WITHOUT A WORD. Most of those I did reach were rude, and clearly annoyed I called back after theyd disconnected me or shuffled me to the never ending realm of "hold." Despite me remaining calm and polite -- when I had every right to be annoyed and rude by that point if Id wanted to. When I did reach someone to look up the order -- she said it showed it was unavailable, so there was nothing she could do. I mentioned that shipment to the store was confirmed, and asked if she could somehow check with the warehouse or make some inquiry to give me a status update/ETA. She said no. How can no one at the store be able to check inventory/shipments? I highly doubt this is impossible. No one was willing to look into my lost order to resolve. I called back again today and my order -- while having been there for two days -- is still not showing available for pickup. This rep said she might have seen some big boxes -- but wouldnt go check. I have dealt with this situation as politely and calmly as I could -- and did not deserve the extremely poor customer service I received in return for a pricey online order. Which no one can find -- not that theyre even trying to. I will not be ordering from Walmart again.

Most Walmarts are at least decent. First off, no Wood Forest. They are not my primary bank, but to avoid ATM issues and to have a place I can always reach, I keep an account with them and some cash in there- nope! They have US Bank. Okay...so walk to the back to grab a snack. Associates do not greet, or say anything when they are inches away (personal space?). Found my drink, and saw a food snack. Not priced. Okay, Im an adult, I can go to a price checker. They are missing. Does North Olmsted have a price checker theft issue? Fine. Walk up front, to a speedy. Few registers open, but a short line for Saturday morning. Cashier was courteous, but became too friendly. Didnt put my money in and tried to stand and talk as the line was forming...now I am not a snob in line, I dont use my phone and smile and chat. This doesnt mean I want to BS for 15 minutes...so reminded her about the payment, and she got to it. Clearly she wasnt listening when I said no bag...so took my few items out, and she was still trying to chat...smiled, started edging away as the customers behind were waiting. So, Im almost out! Use the restroom, and both stalls are down. I work in LE and like a more secure area when Im so vulnerable, but things happen. My bigger complaint is the packaging taped to the door with packing tape. Really...so wash my hands. Four sinks, one soap dispenser all the way to the left. Okay...so no paper towels in the left dispenser. Then none in the right...great. Its 39° out, so asked an associate for some. She brought me a few (I like my hands 100% dry when its cold like this, but no big deal), but she maybe could have smiled or been a little courteous. I mean, I was standing in the front aisle with soaking wet hands smiling and being nice...we could at least smile back. If this was my local Walmart, I would not be shopping at Walmart nearly as much. Bare essentials are there, but disappointing.

I rarely complain because I know businesses are run by people and people have off days and make mistakes. But Ive run out of patience for this Walmart. The shelves are always empty and disorganized, cans are dented and the produce is old and mushy. If youre lucky, youll get one the good deli clerk. Otherwise, you can be standing at the counter for 10 minutes without anyone coming out. Checkout lines are always extremely long and most of the cashiers are slow. If you spin the bag wheel looking to make sure you got all the bags, one cashier will jerk it back and glare at you. If you go home without a bag or two (which happens more here than anywhere Ive ever shopped), when you return to get it, youll be directed all over the store from customer service to the line with the cashier who is no longer on the floor. If anything in it was cold, it will now be spoiled since they just toss the bag on the floor. Some cashiers forget to give you the cash back you paid for, and if I mention that I have X amount of dollars coming, one guy will just reach into the drawer and hand it over without a word. Either he knew how much I was supposed to get or he just handed over money because I said so. Neither is good. On the positive side, I do have to give credit to Becky who works in Customer Service who always has a smile and is pleasant. And there are a couple nice cashiers, a bit slow, but you can forgive that because theyre not scowling at you.

The ladies in customer service are very friendly. I feel bad gor for them having to work for this company under the conditions they work. Only having 2 people during the holiday season is ridiculous! You have people waiting over an hour for 1 person looking for there layaway. Come on now. You do this every year, how is it not organized into a plan. You go to toys r us and wait less than 2 minutes for your layaway to come from the back because they have the staff and are organized. I will never ever do layaway here again. On top of it i witnessed customers picking up online orders your staff opening it to verify and it being the wrong order and they say oh they sent the wrong order because the other was out of stock. Who does that? Why not say you dont have the item why send the wrong thing? Crappppy service! Management walks through vustomer service with there head down not stopping to ring someone out not asking if they need help. Pft screw that!

Worked at this store for about 5 months. Was forced to be on the remodeling team...while everyone else had an option. Was paid $7.90 while majority were paid $9-$10. Did strenuous work that WAS NOT IN THE JOB DESCRIPTION ! Working at the fitting room you become the store manager and personnels personal assistant. You take their phone calls, and messages plus you cant talk to you co workers, you also have to do the managers job because all they do is walk around and bark orders instead of at least trying to run the place! They sale COUNTLESS amounts of EXPIRED FOOD ! theyve put it in the clearance aisle..they even have it in the everyday food. The store manager is a kiss a**...she is only there to make herself look good. During the remodeling..she would only come to work the day before and the day that the district manager came..other than that...she was never there...they treat their employees like DOGS ! Word of warning., DO NOT SHOP OR WORK THERE !
