I wish I could put no stars...never thought I would be putting this about this company. My girlfriend works for multiple vendors that does installs for Best Buy and the fact that she has worked in this store before is crazy for the manager Ryan Gentry to racial profile her the way he did is unacceptable. She has to do an install for Sony through the BDS marketing company they had to be there at 7am this morning 3/15/17. Her other teammates hadnt arrived yet so we were in FaceTime and I told her its getting late and you all were suppose to be there at 7 and it was almost 716 I told her to go and let the store know just to show your face that you were there just in case you leave. When she walked up to the door once again we were on FaceTime so I heard and saw everything she walked up she had on a black jacket zipped up when she got to the door she made sure her shirt was visible. The manager is Ryan didnt even open the door up enough for her to speak as if she was going to rob the place a something. She then stated Im from BDS to install for Sony and before she could get everything out he said through the barely cracked door idk who that is then she stated we have to install the tvs for Sony and he kept saying never heard of them and she asked so you all dont have anyone coming to install today and he said again idk who that is, not once did he say let me look into for you or let me double check the install book for today, so she walked off and called her team lead who is WHITE and when she said where she was from he politely asked for a work order and verified the company. At this point my girlfriend went off and he told her team lead that AS LONG AS YOU CAN GUARANTEE THAT SHE (my girlfriend) DOESNT COME IN MY STORE THEN HE WOULD LET THEM IN.....like really sir we will be taking further action with this matter

I really wanted to give them 3.5 stars, but figured they deserved a 3 more than a 4. At the end Ill tell you why. BestBuy in general is struggling to stay viable in the wake of the online merchants. Their prices are sometimes competitive, sometimes not. Today I wanted to look at smartwatches. Still trying to convince myself that they could be worth the money. Two of the displays were empty, many more the device although plugged in was dead. Wonder why theyre not selling do you. I wanted to see the Pebble Round, it wasnt on display, but I could see it in the locker behind a big padlock. They have segmented the store to highlight certain products and brands. The cellphone area, Windows PCs, Samsung and Apple areas done nicely. The staff helpful, but not always knowledgeable. So why a 3 star rating. Partly because of the above ratings, lastly because of a pet peeve of mine. Their store prices and online prices are not always the same, this likely being a corporate decision. Install their app and check the price before you buy. If you bring it to their attention theyll match their online price. Overall to me it feels like a deceptive practice and I wish they would stop it.

Incompetent and lazy management. I generally have a good experience with Best Buy; however, I will go out of my way to avoid this location in the future. After checking the availability of an item online, checking the availability with my local best buy, and calling this store to confirm the availability of this item, I decided to drive the 50+ miles to pick up the item. The sales associate kindly and professionally informed me that they did not have the item even though their inventory shows 3 in stock (see attachment) and retrieved the "assistant manager" (a walking indictment of Best Buys hiring requirements) to help resolve this problem. I didnt expect much given his title. This assistants inexperience was obvious, since he was so overwhelmed with the situation and was looking for an out as I was informing him about the problem. He said he wasnt aware of any policies regarding product availability and he made a point to say he wasnt inclined to help me as an irritated (and rightly so) customer. Apparently it is this pions choice to help a customer or not.

Worst experience. I had a bad iphone i wanted to return or exchange. Turned out they charge $100 more for the model i want vs apple store or walmart. So then i just wanted a refund. Second thing they charged me a restocking fee and would not refund it. They told at first no restock fee for bad products when exchanging. But when i wanted a refund for it they slammed me with the fee. Crooks !!! I seen a poor old lady out trying to exchange a bad wifi router and they told her she was outta her 14 day return policy... poor old lady left upset as well. these people outta they mind. I will never purchase anything from best buy untill they appologize , refund me , and change they return policy other wise no wonder the stores are suffering and closing left and right. Stay away ! I saved money going to ATT&T phone store , got the model i wanted for $100.00 less didnt even have to goto Apple store in Greenville.

The product selection is decent, but everything else about this store is terrible. The employees are pushy and ignorant. The mobile device area is packed with Samsung employees attempting to dissuade customers from purchasing any other devices. Stereo and television employees refuse to take "no" for an answer, and keep spurring customers onto products that are bigger and more expensive than what they want or need. PC department is full of idiots who dont even know what a graphics card is; the blind leading the blind when customers ask for details or recommendations. The video game, music, and movie departments arent bad, but its hard to mess up something that is primarily driven by customer opinion. Chances are, you can get the exact same products elsewhere without the headache of dealing with these incompetent employees.

I just went to Best Buy to purchase a TV. I went there during my lunch hour because I knew what I wanted and knew it was in stock. As I entered the store, I made my way over to the TV section. I saw a couple of associates waiting on people so I just hung around the TV I wanted. I waited and waited as they walked by several times not even acknowledging my existence. As they finished up with one customer buying an HDMI cable, they jumped right on the phone. Talked on the phone for a while (must have made a big commission on that call). Anyway, after about 45 minutes my time was up. Too bad Best Buy, as I am sure you know plenty of stores are selling TV’s and this is just another one they will sell due to the worst customer services I have received from a company advertising customer service.

Was at the store July 4 since I had the day off and I was browsing for a new computer. My wife looked at vacuum cleaners and the salesperson who showed them to her was very polite and professional. He was an older gentleman that what one normally sees in Best Buy. I went and looked at laptop computers and the salesperson who helped me was very patient while I compared the computers and narrowed down my choice. He even looked to see if there were any open box deals and proceeded to tell me how I could save money on an open box. Unfortunately, they did not have an open box for the one I picked out. Great experience in my opinion.
