Here is my unbiasreview on Krogers being that Im a former employee. My experience was like I was working as a bagger for almost 2 years I couldnt go nowhere in the company that was leading me to nowhere. When I did get promoted I got demoted in less than a week for unknown reasons The manager "Mr. Walker" who I heard through the grapevine got me the demoted in the first place came up to me in an angry tone asked him if he needed to talk to me when I didnt even ask for his opinion. I end up leaving for another job that pays more. The only thing I really miss is some of the people that I used to talk to and hang out with and have two people I dont even talk to this day they just still work there or dont work there anymore. I just look at it like it was just a job after awhile. I wouldnt recommend anybody work at the store its too small its understaffed and since when Mr.Redman left everything started going downhill even that like and look up Mr. Mounts and Mr. Vest they left to the Fairborn store shortly after Mr Redman retired. The pros: great pay great benefits paid time off and vacation I met some great people along the way that I still have in my life and some people I look up to this day great company to work for The cons: disrespectful rude employees thats support favoritism instead of hard work employees too much sucking up for me to even stay and if you dont get on their good side that look down upon you like you aint nothing. I wouldnt recommend this store to work for

Never enough people keeping things stocked- sometimes shelves look like theyve been ransacked, especially the cereal aisle. They never seem to have anything other than apples and oranges unless its something that is really really in season. The one on Stroop always always always has things like mangoes and papayas in their produce area while this one always seems to only have the most basic produce and alot of the stuff seems picked through if there is any at all so it is over ripe or bruised and stuff like that. I think it is just WAY WAY too busy for them to handle it and they really need people stocking and receiving throughout the day and to focus more on quality produce and not running out of basic things like serrano chiles. Another reviewer here, James Claybeck said in his review that this Kroger is "rather upscale" and he would rather go to the Stroop location for some of the same reasons I say here; however the problem in my opinion is the exact opposite. This is a more working class demographic served here in close proximity to an old Delphi plant (now Tenneco) and the product selection is reflective of that. The Stroop location has freshfare produce focus, a specialty cheese and sushi area as well as Boars head brand deli selections so it is far and away a more upscale location (and less busy by far except on Sundays but even then seems to manage to stay well stocked). It even has a cafe area with a gas fireplace and televisions for an upscale environment to eat .

This is a super nice store. Unfortunately, customer acknowledgement really sucks. Even when we said hi to employees as we passed then they could not be bothered to return or greetings or acknowledge us in any way. One employee was wearing earphones on the sales floor. A customer using a scooter accidentally knocked off a thing of tomatoes and we picked them up for him, but when I took the package to customer service, they barely acknowledged my presence, and when I started to explain what had happened with the tomatoes, the man I thought I was speaking with turned his back on me and didnt seem to be listening to me. I ended up leaving the dirty tomatoes on the ledge after a while when neither he or the woman there acknowledged that I had said anything at all, much less thanked me for trying to help someone. Not good.

I have been shopping at this Kroger for 13 years, the store is great, I have no complaints with Kroger. My biggest issue is with the Starbucks inside this Kroger. It is beyond horrible. The staff is terrible. Rude, slow, inappropriate, etc... At least 3 times a month the espresso machine is broken, they are always out of lids, rarely does it ever open on time, and today, there was a sign saying that it was closed, the barista was on break for the next 30 minutes. The only reason I visit this Starbucks is because its convenient. Unfortunately now, I will be going elsewhere.

The krogers star bucks at Dorthy lane and Stroop location are sexist and only staff women I have never seen a male working there In the last five years . Good luck with any good customers service if you have any problems with your order dealing with a bunch of catty women who have become dictators of the whole store . I am sorry but I do believe a good ratio of male to female would make a better star bucks and balance out to be fair and square .

I shopped at this Kroger for many months, and considered it my favorite grocery shopping place, and no one appreciates a Starbucks Coffee more than I. In spite of those qualifications, I can no longer shop in that favorite place, as they have declared themselves to be a "gun-free" zone. I, being a supporter of the second amendment of our Constitution, no longer feel comfortable nor safe while shopping there.

I have been to several Krogers, and this by far is my favorite store. I love the Dorothy Lane personnel (from Steve the manager to all the other employees), always willing to help and make your trip as easy as possible. Plus the layout of this store makes the most sense. The reason it is so crowded, is because it is the BEST!!!! (NO I am not an employee, just a loyal customer for years)

The staff at this Kroger are really great. Shelves are always stocked and when items are missing they either find it for us or offer an alternative. If there is a price difference of some significance they have even reduced the price of the alternative to match the original item. This is our grocery store.

This is a pretty good location. Its not as busy as some of the others in the area during peak times. Their meat selection isnt that great, but is fresh. For a grocery store, the produce, dairy, frozen foods section as well as craft beer is pretty decent. Quick cash out gets you in and out quick.

Im not a big fan of Kroger stores to begin with. I find much better deals at Meijer. This Kroger in particular tends to be sold out of their sale items listed in the weekly ad pretty quickly. I dont know about you, but I dont particularly like getting rainchecks.

Lines so long that the front of the store is blocked. Only four U-Scans which always have a line backed up as well. I dont know why this store is so busy, but when Im purchasing only a few items, I would rather get out of the store in less than twenty minutes.

Happy to say I have begun shopping at this Kroger again as the store no longer boasts of being a dangerous gun free zone. Thank you Kroger for supporting our 2nd amendment to our constitution and for allowing your shoppers to be safe. Bill Keener
