I have been here many times and have had different qualities of experiences. It all depends on which department you are in. The people in tool rental are very helpful and friendly. As well as the guys in the lumber section. However if you are in any other section, just looking for batteries for example, no one will try to help you find anything. When I walked in the door today, a worker shouted at me, are you working or shopping? I was surprised that she didnt recognize her own fellow employees. As I walked on past, another gentleman called out to me "excuse me, can I help you?" It was very polite, and I have rarely heard that from someone here, and I responded yes. To which he quickly replied "Well, were closed," in a far more harsh tone. I didnt know what to say, and I left. I didnt know the hours, and the doors were not closed or locked. The confusion of the organization of this place, coupled with the repeated unpleasantness of the staff are more than enough reason not to go here if you dont have to.

Got confirmation my fencing was in. i called 3 days later and asked if they could have it up front. they said it already was. i arranged for a truck to pick it up for me. got there, waited over an hour while they tried to find it. never could. friend with truck came for nothing from another city, as there was no fencing to pick up. they said they would deliver it to my house in 3 days. no delivery, no call. called the store today and talked to asst manager, she basically told me to calm down, shed "try to find it and see if she could have it delivered tomorrow" i asked if i was supposed to believer them THIS time, since they had lied throughout this entire process. do not shop here you will be very sorry, this was not my first bad experience either!

We go to this Home Depot because its right by where we live. Its probably one of the worst Home Depot we ever been to. The cashier who took care us was being very rude. Her name is Diamonique. She was in a rush to leave so she rushed checking us out. this was 11:55am! We were buying some plants that day, and they are very sensitive plants but she being rough with them. She threw our plants from one side of the cart to the other, and one of the plants stem broke. So, Im never going to this Home Depot ever. Ill take the long drive to Lowes in Mentor to spend my money there because I know they have good customer service.

This place is a disaster at best. I have had numerous problems taking items back even with a receipt. There are a few really wonderful people that work at this location and this review should not reflect them at all. However, customer service overall extremely poor. Organization poor. Corporate office is to blame for what a good manager has to deal with daily. The people at this location are afraid to be good at customer service because corporate comes down hard on them. I spend over $100,000 a year at this store and I get treated very poorly. I will be taking my business elsewhere. You should too.

Everyone knows Home Depot has everything, the trouble is finding it. If you happen to encounter as sales associate, they are generally helpful and friendly. If you dont, then you are probably like me, wondering around aimlessly, asking complete strangers for help. Thats exactly what happened to me today. I finally stopped down a random aisle to consult Home Depots website. I discovered there that once you have selected a "home store", it shows you if the item you are looking for is in stock, a layout of the store and exactly what aisle and bin the item is located! Wish I had known that sooner.

By far and away the worst customer service experience of my life. Completely unprofessional behavior by manager and employees. On top of looking entirely put- off for being asked for assistance when the manager came to finally help me she gossiped with another employee before rolling her eyes and asking if I was the "dude she was supposed to help." Not only did she and the other employee argue over who was going to help me because they were both supposed to go home, no one ever even helped me. Now Im stuck with $100 worth of stuff I cant return now if necessary. Avoid at all costs.

Just about what you expect from a big box store in this chain. Does seem at this location, they can keep the shelves stocked and product prices marked, so you dont have to guess. Stopped in for some electrical supplies for a project of mine and they stuck that dept all the way in the far back corner. Took a while to find it, along someone working in it, to ask some qustions. Found out they only have one supplier for what I needed, and it was way over priced. So for me ended up being a wasted trip. Maybe will check online next time is my lesson learned.

Toby was a fantastic associate. After the store manager helped me locate the coroplast boards I was looking for, Toby cut and scored them for me in the EXACT dimensions I needed. He quickly guessed that I was building the base of a guinea pig cage, because he had experience assisting other customers with similar projects. He was knowledgeable and so detail oriented. Measured twice and cut once and it was perfect. He completed this project in about 20 minutes, which wouldve likely taken me 2 hours. I am VERY thankful for his outstanding customer service!

Called them to ask about a carpet cleaner. Waited to talk to someone for like 9 min. After I was redirected 2 times to that department a lady answered the phone and she told me about how they had nothing available and how how it was going to be to rent one. She rushed me off the phone, I said I had another question otherwise she was going to hang up on me I proceeded to ask and I told her I was just going to go to the store and ask for more info since she was not helpful at all and her response was "ok" very disappointed .

I just bought a house near this location I needed to do some home improving we have tiled ceilings in the kids playroom and a couple needed to be replaced the guy told us we could buy them individually and opened up the box of ceiling tiles it had a barcode on the back so we believed him we get to the register and the lady said no you cant buy them individually I thought they have people in each section thats supposed to know about their section I hate when someone doesnt know or isnt qualified for their job

I bought 12 bags of 40# rocks and no one offered to help me load my car. The man watering flowers walked up to a man with two kids who had 4 bags of rocks and asked the guy if he needed help. He looked at me while talking to the man. When the man didnt need help the worker walked away from me and did not offer any assistance. I even saw him watering flowers and glancing over at me but then quickly looked away when he saw me look at him. Its not that I could not do it; but, you are 6 away and dont offer?!?!
