I am not going to compare this flower shop with Kroger or Costco etc because that would be unfair. The latter are not custom shops at all and offer very little in terms of service. That being said, this place is, in my estimation, outrageously priced. I went there to purchase flowers for a funeral, as well as individual flowers to be given to those attending. The quote that I was given was over $200 for the main display, and $12.50 for each calla lily that was going to be given to the individual participants. I thought this seemed a bit high so I went to Oberers Flowers in Westchester, even though I live just a few blocks from this establishment in Fairfield. The arrangement that we got from Oberers was absolutely what we wanted and was beautiful. The price was just over $100 for the main one.. Remember the $12.50 calla lilies? The same flowers, just as fresh, just as large, and just as beautiful, were $2 a stem at Oberers. We needed 24 of them, so that was a savings of over $250 just on those. I can understand that there may be reasonable differences in pricing among flower shops. But $10.50 per stem to me is highway robbery. Their attitude may be cordial, and their shop may be convenient if you live in Fairfield, but buyer beware! Oberers has made a believer out of me.

We received a badly arranged funeral spray, the worst looking spray at the funeral. When I called to complain, I was told someone would get back to me. When I called back three days later, I was told how beautiful the arrangement was and that we underpaid for what we got. Im 63 years old, an interior designer and I know beautiful when I see it. Stay away from these folks. Bad customer service and bad designs.

NEVER experienced anything but great service and beautiful arrangements. They have always accommodated my requests and more often than not short time limits. The price is fair when compared to other florists, delivery is on time, and arrangements are loved by the receiver. I would highly recommend them for your floral needs.

Highly recommend ordering flowers from them. They are the best florist I have ordered from and you can always expect high quality arrangements and such nice customer service. These flowers are a much better quality and always last longer than the ones at Kroger.

Not very helpful, employee on phone was fairly rude. Did not order from them, called another local florist with much better service. Pretty sad when as a customer we are looking to spend a decent amount of money and customer service is horrible & rude.

We have only gone to this florist for arrangements--even though our chapel is now 25 minutes away--because they do such a good job. Gary has real talent; everything he puts out is beautiful. And all the staff are friendly at Novak-Schaefer.
