Whole Foods Spent the time to ensure safety and quality of its products for my family. In return 100% of our grocery, hygiene, and cleaning supply purchases will be made at their stores. It doesnt feel like a store. It feels like a partnership between families and farmers. Whole Foods makes that possible. The fish department can tell me the exact boat that caught the fish I will purchase. Whole Foods refuses to buy species of fish that are over harvested. They are stewards of the sea. Whole foods actually goes to the farms not just to inspect the safety of the product, they see if the farmers are using too much water or too little. If the farm is sanitary, the list goes on. The result is safer products at my childrens table. The staff is the most experienced staff I have encountered in over forty years of shopping. Free Wifi, Free samples of fantastic products, and plenty of places to sit and plan that next meal. If all this was not enough, they will also cook for your food upon request at NO COST. Want to have some cooked salmon? Just ask. Then in spring they sell top soil, and other products for people to grow at home. All their waste goes in massive compost behind their stores. NO Trash dumping. NO WASTE. No more walking down aisles of poison chemicals looking for something to feed the family. Whole Foods did the research for safety and quality. I finally walked out of a grocery store knowing there is one company in Dayton that is looking out for its customers and not pure profit. Talk about cost? What would you pay not to see your loved ones dying of diseased caused by food additives you didnt even know about? Knowing that Whole Foods Market spent millions looking for the safest products for their shelves gives me the peace of mind, I am doing the best for my families safety by shopping at Whole Foods Market. Take my money and pass the GMO free veggies!

I Love, Love, Love this place! Where else can you get a slice of pulled pork & grilled asparagus pizza with a beer for under $5.00? Its HUGE and has a wide variety of healthy options to choose from. Some of my favorites are the store brand citrus sparkling mineral water, the made in store hot Italian chicken sausage, and the Wild Selections brand lightly smoked sardine fillets, just to name a few. I also enjoy meeting Friends there on Fridays for the wine tasting, and sometimes on Sunday for brunch. Because of this I hsve met even more people that are now in my cicle of Friends...BONUS! Of course I can do those things at other locations, but here I know at least half a dozen of the associates by name and they know mine. Which means Im guaranteed to catch some smiles whenever Im there. :-) I just find it to be a fun and comfortable experience whenever I am there. That keeps me coming back!

My favorites grocery store for what it offers. I drive across town to get my produce from Whole Foods. They have the best selection of organic fruits, especially during the winter. I miss having their area of seafood include the frozen seafood. The fishmongers can point you in the right direction, but cannot fully educate customers unless the customer find back and forth between frozen foods and the fish station. Also Ive noticed my fave fishmonger not working in fish. I dont know if this is an upward move for him, but it is a loss for us who enjoy learning and trying new fish or different mollusks. The other mongers are pleasant, but they do not go out of their way to work their customers. If you are in the area go into the Dayton Whole Foods and ask for Corey in the seafood department. Oh, and request some Olde Salt oysters. They are amazing.

News on my stock page today "WHOLE FOODS MAY BE RIPPING YOU OFF" I am upset as a stock holder plus my favorite store when visiting our sons in Fort Collins, CO the past several years. My experience at our McEwen Rd store has not been the best - First visit I paid 40 cents a piece for my rugulahs. Next visit I paid 80 cents for my rugulahs, next visit I was charged $1.20 a piece for my rugulahs and told the cashier to forget it and left all my groceries with the cashier. A few hours later my wife brought home a bag of rugalahs that she paid 30 cents a piece, along with a pound of cod fish that wasnt fresh. NOPE my experience at the McEwen Rd. Store wasnt a good one but I wish you well. I care, Jim Peth

My husband and I love Whole Foods! We love the sushi, soups, salads, tacos, Mediterranean wrap, fresh squeezed lemonade, pumpkin butter, pizza, queso, basically all the fresh foods, the sourdough, gummy bears, (to name a few lol) and the seeduction bread is the best! The main reason that I wanted to make a review is because of the cashier Dylan and his remarkable customer service everytime! He really is so friendly to my kids and really goes above and beyond and out of his way to be so very sweet! My 10 and 12 year old both recognized this and said to me " Wow, he was really nice!" We appreciate that! We just moved here and we love going there!

Weve been here many times since its close by and convenient, but it is overpriced and over-rated. We have talked with management and have tried to give them second, third, fourth chances, but the quality of food and customer service is severely lacking here, not to mention the rotten food we have purchased and returned. We were very excited about this store opening so close to us, but will spend the extra time to drive to Trader Joes, Dorothy Lane Market and Krogers to purchase necessities and specialty items. We wish you luck WFs!

I think Whole Foods is overrated. Pricing is to high, sale pricing is not removed consistently when sale is over so hassles at checkout. Bought a slice of pizza and it tasted burned, not that nice fire baked flavor. When I took the slice back to the guy who served me he was visibly angry and threw it hard into the trash. As another reviewer mentioned, no one seems to be able to answer grocery related questions properly, has to ask someone else. Staff always friendly though except the guy mentioned above.

The grand opening was stunning...flashy, amazing displays, great food. We didnt buy any groceries that day though. We did come back a week or so later after the crowds subsided a bit. Im beyond shocked at the quality control issues we had with several of our perchases. The fresh shrimp made us sick, the green leaf lettuce was beyond bitter, the fresh sausages lacked flavor, and the fresh mozzarella was literally inedible despite the expiration date being at least a week away. Im still in shock honestly.

I dont understand why there is a full service bar inside of a Whole Foods Market. Alcohol consumption causes physical and emotional changes that can do great harm to your body. Shopping at Whole Foods Market is all about choosing healthful foods and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It makes no sense why there is a bar there. Seems extremely contradictory in promoting overall wellness. Im sure its a good money maker but its a very meager way to make sales from such an esteemed business. It needs to go.
