The reason why I give it the okay review is because they have a wide selection of games, and they are quiet knowledgeable. The problem is that they have just terrible costumer service, and you can trade in games for half the price you can in game stop. If you ever shop at this location make sure you ask for Dave, he is a decent person (unlike everybody else, especially the fat guy). I went there today and was in a rush because I had a deadline. As soon as I came in I put the games I wanted to trade in on the counter in front of the fat man. He told me very rudely to go put it on the front glass counter because there is other costumers, so I did. I waited for a half an hour for 1 costumer and 3 that came in after me (the store is usually empty). I ran out of time and missed my deadline. So I grew impatient, and walked back up to him. I said, "can I sell my games yet?" And once again he very rudely said, "the front counter." I stood there for a little bit in front of him with a disappointed look on my face. I said, "I am in a rush". He replied with, "I told you the what I had to so if you wanna stand there than just go". "Am I supposed to leave?" I sarcastically replied. " Yes, you are." he replied. At this point I was completely steamed, so I said, "Great costumer service you have here. Ill make sure to write a review of this store online". He pointed at the door "Just leave", he said as I saw the his sweaty fat hand in my face. I looked back and fourth and told my littler brother, "lets go", and left. So in conclusion this store has terrible costumer service.

Play It Trade It is an... interesting place. Ill discuss the positives first, then the negatives. First, it has a very large selection of games, movies, music and posters. The prices are okay and there are even some pretty rare purchases there, (for example, Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger in box). But for the positives, large selection and price is about it. There are far more negatives. First things first, the customer service is pretty bad. Every single employee is lazy and short-tempered. Ive never had a good experience with customer service there. Ever. Second, (though this may be obvious), they dont get newer titles until quite a while after the original release. Third, the return policy is complete garbage. Unless you bring a game back within a day, therell be almost no chance you can return it, and if you can, itll be for 30 or 40 bucks less than your original purchase. And we thought GameStops return prices were bad. You cant trade in more than one or two games at a time, because they dont want to pay you back in full. Fourth, selling them games is horrid. You cant way less money than their price once it hits their shelves. All in all, this place has a somewhat nice selection, but its ruined by horrible customer service, late arrivals, bad trade-ins and horrible sells. 2/5.

This is a great place, you cannot go wrong coming here. I cant speak for any of the other locations but the north high street one, but every time I have come into the store the staff have always been very helpful but not in an "in your face" kind of way. The prices on used games, not to mention their deals on dvds are the best around and their selection is impressive. I only wish the prices on new games was more competitive with other retailers, but that isnt their niche so I understand and cant really fault them for that. The people working there all seem very knowledgable, enthusiastic and most importantly honest. I have been a gamer for most of my life so I not only keep up with current trends but I also know a thing or two about how everything works and I feel confident saying these guys would never intentionally take advantage of someone less experienced or versed in the gaming / technology world. Thats what is so great about this place, it can be a place for novices and wizards alike and still have something for everybody no matter what your interested in.

What can I say about this place? Its a treasure. The guy that runs the place is super nice, incredibly helpful, and has a sense of humor as well. Theyll let you demo games before you buy them, and while back in the day most privately owned places did this, theyve all been swallowed by the emotionless monster that is Gamestop/EB Games. If you want a great deal whether youre buying, trading in for a new system, or just selling.. definitely check this place out. They deal in EVERYTHING video game related.. PC..Atari.. Dreamcast.. you name it theyve more than likely got it. They deal with game strategy guides [used and new] as well as VHS tapes and DVDs as well as music and a plethora of video game accessories. This place is a MUST visit.

Ive been coming to this location (and Hilliard) for quite a few years. Ive seen the staff (Dusty) be rude to people over the phone and in person but theyre always pretty cool with me. Prices are OK on some items and insanely overpriced on others. They have a solid selection overall though. The main issue with this store is the trade in values. I took a tote of appx. 30-40 games and about 10 strategy guides in for trade. After about 30 minutes of waiting for the quote, I was hit with $50 cash or $65 trade. Two of the guides I brought in were worth $50 alone. A legitimately offensive trade in offer. I packed everything up and walked out. Giving $65 in store credit for $350+ worth of merchandise is ludicrous.

This review was made on 3/6/17 (March 3rd, 2017) ------>Freaking awesome retro/present gaming selection! Genuinely Friendly and down to earth cool staff that are all in it for the love of the games and you can really feel that in the atmosphere when you walk in and browse! Retro gaming enthusiasts thinking about taking a drive over, DO IT! You probably wont regret it. As for the bad reviews I am seeing on here. I just cant make a correlation with my visit, the service was great, I even was recommended some games based on my current selections. I was dealt with accordingly, received no bad lip or anything like that. Maybe new staff idk As for reading the bad

GREAT service, but remember you are allowed to bargain at this store. There was only one guy working there, and he mentioned how the system was down, but still knew what he was doing! He was so nice, he pointed out games based on my interests, I was the only person in the store but it wasnt awkward. The store itself is a relatively expensive for old game, but they (or maybe just this one guy) are willing to drop prices a bit. I would shop there again, but I also have other store choices that I would go to first. Bring $20-40 depending on what you want to buy, but obviously bring more if youre planning on buying something that you know would be money.

Absolutely Awesome Experience!! They have an unsurpassed collection of retro games and consoles. They are very friendly and willing to work with you on purchases AND trade ins. I received wonderful deals for my trade ins on multiple occasions! Very knowledgeable and if theres a question they cant answer they take the time to look it up. The manager Chris went above and beyond to help me out with items I was looking for and items I was getting rid of. From now on I will be going here for all my familys and friends gaming needs!! Its refreshing to find a place that truly is into the gaming experience and not just making money!!
