Rudest bike mechanic Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with! I was purchasing a list of items for my pedicab and, since i live 800 miles away from this shop, i was trying to take a tire off of a rim to see if the new one would fit and he came unglued, verbally accosting me on the spot. I was going to employ more of their service on another rim but decided it might be better if i jist get the hell out! If a courteous bike shop like eddys is too far out of the way, or any shop but this one for that matter, you should probably just quickly get what you need and leave quickly before you see the brutal extent of that bike mechanics demeanor!

Don is a fine bike mechanic. He tuned our road bikes exceptionally well and weve been delighted with the candid answers and suggestions to questions weve posed. He has gone out of his way to find necessary parts to put our bikes in top shape. Im looking forward to having wheels rebuilt by Don; his specialty. Don and Ruth are biking enthusiasts that live the lifestyle and know their products thoroughly. You will be well cared for at this bike shop.

I swung by the R-D Bike Shop, looked in the window, and saw recumbents on display. I was interested in the Catrike recumbent, and Ruth and Don ordered and set up the Road model for me six years ago. They have treated me very well since, though the Catrike is so well built that maintenance visits have been rare. Yes, Ive talked up the shop to everyone who asked after my trike. They get a thumbs up!

Good people. Great deal on very solid used bike. Ruth was a sweetheart of a lady and took the time to explain everything about the bike , as Im novice & know nothing , and Don was willing to drop what he was doing and add a kickstand. Felt very comfortable buying from them & will refer folks I know. And oh ya.....sorry for knocking over your coffee cup Don. Good people

We bought two new bikes here last year and are very happy with our purchase. There were many different bikes to choose from and we needed help - they were very knowledgeable and helpful and their prices were reasonable. We have since been back for accessories and I recommend them highly.

I brought my bike here to get the gears adjusted and an odometer put on it and the gears didnt work right and the odometer only worked for a week. So I took it to bisesis bike shop across the street from nemisilla lake on s main st in Akron oh and they fixed it for a good price.

This family owned shop really cares about their customers. The owner took the time ro explain in detail info i needed. Showed me a few extra things about my bike. If you dont want to feel like a number, but want to feel appreciated, RD Bike Shop is the place to go.
