Good donuts, cooked fresh. Cost-effect and friendly staff. We came here early on when it was a new thing, and the line was literally out the door. But the managers were moving it along, and even with maybe twenty orders ahead of ours we waited like fifteen minutes total. The donuts are all individually customized from frostings to drizzles and toppings (even my maple frosting, syrup drizzle, and bacon donut) and cooked fresh. They come to you hot. Theyre kind of a cake style, you they have a fluffy, almost pancake like density. Not like Dunkins cake donuts, which I think are repellant. I cant attest to what they were like cold, because we didnt make it out of the parking lot before the two of us demolished our half dozen.

Duck Donuts is hands down The.Best.Donut-shop EVER! The donuts are cakey-soft inside with a slight crispness on the outside; no heavy grease flavor either (sorry Krispy Kreme). Theyre made when you order, so theyre super fresh! While you watch, the artists expertly craft the donuts exactly as you ordered from the build-your-own menu, or the predefined flavor combos if you get overwhelmed with the unlimited combination options. I had the famous maple bacon donut as well as the cinnamon roll flavored one and was not disappointed - these really did live up to the hype! If youre anywhere near a Duck Donuts, make time to stop in or youll wish you had!

I am usually all about yeast donuts like Krispy Kream or Donut World but let me tell you that if you are looking for a "designer" donut Duck Donuts will not disappoint. The Cinnamon bun donut is so far my favorite but I am going to try them all sooner or later. On my last visit the staff looked bored and spent more time goofing around and texting than the did waiting on customers. I get it, food service is hard but at least pretend that you are happy to have a job.

The donuts are amazing! The staff is very friendly. They also have breakfast sandwiches which the original in Duck, NC does not. The music was so loud that the cashier even asked us to move to another register so we could all hear each other. Other than that, the store was great. One of our 6 donuts was made with vanilla instead of lemon. That seems to be a rarity and not the norm for this place. I recommend it! We will definitely be back.

So I came here today first time ever. & Oh My Gosh I thought Krispy Kreme had good doughnuts Wrong. This place is incredible very friendly staff who know there stuff great atmosphere very clean will Definitely be back even though its a 20 minute drive from where Im at but its so worth it. These doughnuts will melt in your mouth once you take your first bite. You will be ordering more then one. Good luck.

We are new in town and a lot of our coworkers mentioned Duck Donuts and we decided to go check them out. The place is clean, the attention was great and fast and you can literally see the donuts being made right next to you. The menu is very simple but allows you to combine the toppings and glazes....Yum! And even thought its not your typical donut as it is a little cakey for me they were delicious

1st visit today and theyre the best Ive ever had. Okay youve got powdered or cinnamon sugar, glazed ; icings in chocolate, vanilla, maple, peanut butter, strawberry, blueberry & lemon; toppings in rainbow or choc sprinkles, chopped peanuts, bacon pieces, oreos, shredded coconut; and drizzle in hot fudge, blackberry, raspberry or salted caramel. Hot, custom made and good prices.

I love how hot and ready the doughnuts are every time I go. The doughnuts are really fluffy and moist in the inside. And no !! The doughnuts dont need the toppings and drizzles to give them taste. The vanilla cake batter in which the doughnuts are made out of taste exceptionally great as if with nothing on it.

I had my first duck donuts experience about a week ago. Everyone I knew raved about the maple bacon donut. They neglected to say that every donut is incredible AND MADE TO ORDER! Its a fun atmosphere and Im definitely going to make that my main donut spot

LUV LUV LUV Duck Donuts!! It takes some time to get used to ordering each one, especially a whole dozen. But give it time. The flavors are sooooo good! They do have a sheet with a menu of flavors to help. If you are driving by, dont skip it!! Yum!

Place is so good. Maple with bacon is on point. So is maple with Oreo. Fudge is good too. Try em all. Just be prepared for a wait b/c there are usually a lot of people ordering at same time. Weekends and off work hours are generally the busiest.

Friendly people and great tasting donuts. A perfect combination! Make sure you try the Maple Bacon flavored donut. It melts in you mouth, not in your hand. Unless it is a hot summer day, then it might just melt all over the place.

Long wait! I get that they are made to order but when they got busy no one came to help the 2 people making/decorating the donuts. No sense of urgency until I told her I need to go. Plan to wait atleast 20 minutes. Smh

Great donuts and excellent customer service. This store is off to a good start. It is nice to eat in; you get them served hot. Ive also had them catered, and they were good at the end if my event but much better early.

Maple, bacon, salted caramel. Thats enough!...This place is awesome. Made fresh to order. You choose your toppings! AND you dont have to get coffee with the combo you can get bottled water. It is very inexpensive.

Great Donuts. Made to order. Hot, fresh, and delicious. We will be going back. Wait times can be a little long, but that can be attributed to the new opening. Worth the wait though.
