I have many issues with this pharmacy. First he prices are higher than any other im aware of. Also, other then the male pharmacist with the darker complexion, the staff has been routinely smug or even flat out rude. The biggest problem I have is their conflict resolution. They once shorted me 5 pills of my medication (that I take daily for painful spasms just so I can function properly). After I noticed the shortage I immediately notified them and instead of correcting the problem and apologizing they proceeded to call me a liar. They told me it was impossible for them to make a mistake! Ridiculous considering ive gotten the entire wrong medication in the past at another drug store. In order to get the complete amount I had to call my doctor and have him add more to my prescription. The next time I went to pick up my prescription I was told that I was too early and was denied my prescription. After the pharmacist belittled me I told him I would contact my doctors office to have his nurse alter the prescription so that I could pick it up that day. By the time I arrived home and called, the pharmacist had already called my doctor without my permission and told them that I was lying about my prescription and arguing with him. He painted me as a criminal to my doctors office and essentially "red flagged" me for prescription abuse (which I would never do). He clearly wanted to punish me for disputing his mistake. The pharmacist was still so mad from the previous month when I had called him out for his counting error that he went out of his way to make my life miserable. The result was that my doctor was concerned from being misled by the pharmacist that he in turn cancelled my prescription, which I really needed and was out of, until I could come in for a visit. I cant blame my doctor for being concerned after hearing 2 different storys. I now have to miss work to speak with my doctor about a medication that I have been regularly taking for months. Small pharmacys can be nice if u want a personal relationship, but if you run into problems it is that much easier for them to personally try to screw you over. They have way more time then a chain does and they seem to play by their own rules. We all make mistakes, even pharmacists. Save yourself from having your time, money and your relationship with your doctor being ruined. This was a blatant example of power abuse and no one dealing with any chronic condition should have to go through this much trouble to obtain their medication. I will never go back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

The team at Dilworth Drug is incredible - I honestly think there is no comparison to any of their competitors. Their expertise, customer service, and attention to detail are spectacular. Theyve saved me more times than I can remember. Just a few examples of their incomparable service: (1) catching an obscure allergy conflict on one of my prescriptions and calling my doctor to resolve - I never could have caught it myself and imagine that if they had not, it might have been a serious situation (2) counseling me through managing the side effects of a family members severe illness - noticing the details of a prescription and recommending getting an additional medical opinion on this very rare occurrence that it was legitimately needed - which resulted in a much better course of treatment (3) helping me teach my children to swallow pills when they aged out of liquids and chewables - they had tricks that were simple and fun, and made a tough situation very easy for us (4) saving me literally hundreds of dollars across many, many visits, knowing of coupons for expensive prescriptions and tracking those down for me (5) evaluating our familys multi-vitamins and making recommendations - this sounds so simple, but it has made a huge difference in our everyday lives and health... The list goes on and on - it is too many great experiences to note them all. When I need help, I am always confident that I will get exactly what I need, with a side of compassion and friendliness :) This place is amazing.

Poor service and crappy attitude. I was on hold for 32 minutes today. When my call was finally answered, the woman said my prescriptions could not be delivered as the driver had gone for the day. I have bronchitis, I got dressed and went to pick up my meds. When I walked in I was surprised to see the driver standing there. I showed the man behind the counter my 33 minute and 37 second phone call to Dilworth Drug today and told him that I was told there could be no delivery. The woman behind the counter started making excuses and not once did she offer an apology. Im so disappointed. I just transferred to Dilworth Drug and thought it had to be better than CVS. So sad that their attitude matches their address. Just transferred to Cannon! Wish me luck! (watch out for the blonde lady with glasses at Dilworth Drug!)

After a humiliating experience at the CVS on Woodlawn, I tried this place. This is the first independent, neighborhood pharmacy Ive ever been to and its been a great experience every time. They are very fast, like within 15 minutes fast. Each time theyve checked me out they take all scripts out of the bag and explain each one. When you ask questions, they dont rush with answers and actually use complete sentences with you. No reasons to go anywhere else to get my scripts filled. They are in the same shopping center as Harris Teeter on East.

Highly recommend Dilworth Drug. Not only do they help troubleshoot and educate customers when needed, but they are speedy when thats whats required. At the same time, their automated refill system and personal reminder calls are useful. Nice combination of community and customized service with professional results. Im a high maintenance customer and am more than pleased that we switched from a large chain. Plus, its nice to be greeted by name when you walk in the door.

1st class customer service. I cannot give this place a higher recommendation. They went above and beyond with finding a medication that was corn free as I am allergic to corn. No other pharmacy in Charlotte even offered to check. Dilworth Drugs customer service is what every other business should base there standards on.

If you are tired of the mistakes and incompetence at pharmacies such as CVS make the switch to Dilworth Drug. I know Josh from CVS and became so frustrated with them I changed and and Im very glad I did.

Outstanding service. It is such a professional and personal experience. Its kind of what I would think a small town pharmacy from 50 years ago might be like with the service you get.

Ive never been so impressed with a pharmacy. They really take the time to make sure youre getting just what you need and somehow their prices are competitive with Target.

I started coming here recently and I must say that the quality of service is so much better than your average chain pharmacy I cant see myself going anywhere else.

the folks at Dilworth drug have helped my family deal with our aging parent in ways too many to count. I would recommend their service to anyone. Sincerely,
