TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! I used to work for Hunter Douglas years ago, so my husband and I decided we wanted a specific product for our sliders. I popped into their "Design Center” to A) see if this product is still being produced and B) check out available colors and fabrics. Upon entering, 3 people were behind the desk offering help – an Asian woman (Let’s call her “Woman-A”), a white man (innocent bystander), and a white woman with straight blonde/light brown hair, ~mid-50’s (Let’s call her Woman-B). I really wish I had gotten her name, but I was so taken aback, that I left in a hurry. ME: “I actually used to work for Hunter Douglas and want to buy some Skylines for my sliders, but not sure if they still make the product.” (looking confused, Woman-B turns to Woman-A) WOMAN-A to WOMAN-B (pointing): “Yes, Skylines, over there.” ME: “OK great, do you have some samples that I can look at to see the different colors and fabrics?” WOMAN-B: “We can take some take some measurements for you. We dont normally show you any samples until after we take measurements and get you closer to what you need.” Um, do you mean the product I came in specifically asking for BY NAME for a specific window? ME (obviously frustrated): “Fine, I guess I’ll just leave then.” WOMAN-B: “OK.” So rather than just show me samples of what I wanted, Woman-B continued with a hard sell and let me walk out, clearly unhappy. It was a truly terrible customer experience. If I had to guess, she made incorrect assumptions about my budget by judging my telecommuting wardrobe of a ponytail and yoga pants. Big mistake, lady! Wallauers, if youre reading this, you should speak to this woman who was working on 2/9/16 around 1 p.m. to ensure she doesnt insult any more customers.

My coop purchased some tile from this store, at the recommendation of one of their employees. When it was delivered, it was not the size the employee had promised us, and the store wont give us a refund. I would recommend caution in dealing with this store.

Wallauers has a great selection of Designer Wallcovering, excellent service on Paint, Fabrics, Custom Window Treatments and more. Love that store....one stop shop for decorating.
