I carefully read several reviews about florists in this area before placing an order with the Carriage House. I told the woman (florist) with whom I spoke that I wanted a spring arrangement to honor an anniversary. The florist suggested specific flowers in a specific color scheme. When I saw a picture of the bouquet sent, I assumed that my recipients received someone elses delivery. None of the flowers were those the florist suggested--not one--nor were the colors of the substituted flowers in the color scheme. They were not appropriate for an anniversary; the arrangement appeared, to me, like one you might send to offer sympathy. When I called to inquire about this, the woman with whom I spoke said they didnt have any of the flowers suggested. They didnt have roses? She offered to send a replacement, but I believed this was a poor solution, as it would convey to the recipients that what they received was a mistake. The flowers might be nice--I cant tell--but they were not what I ordered nor what the florist suggested. I am very disappointed in the bouquet and the proposed resolution. I depend on reviews when I cant visit a shop in person, so I am sharing my experience in the hope that this will help others.

Carriage House Flowers has nothing but subpar service. My husband placed a $300 order for 3 dozen red roses to be delivered to my work location. I was contacted by the florist at 10:15am saying they had a delivery for me, ruining the surprise. They should have called my husband to confirm I was at work and not call me! I asked what time the flowers would be delivered and was told by noon. My husband also called them at 11:00 and was promised the pre-noon delivery. Noon arrived and the flowers did not, causing me to cancel my plans to leave early. I called at noon to express my dissatisfaction and the only response was that he got backed up. (If the florist cannot handle the workload then do not take on the orders). With an order of that magnitude, I feel they should have made an effort to deliver it first. It was not until 12:45 did the flowers finally arrive. The delivery staff had the audacity to request that I not mention that they ruined my holiday without being fully aware of what my situation and plans were. Carriage House Flowers was unable to deliver on their own set expectations. Completely disappointed by their service. It made the flower delivery not worth the money spent.

Theyve apparently been around for over 3 decades, but I hardly ever noticed the store. Our first time using them was certainly not the happiest of occasions, a funeral. But the owner, John was simply outstanding on every level. The arrangements were beautiful, especially the casket spray, which had many sunflowers in the arrangement, one that seemed to simply stand out and look like it was smiling at you. On top of all that, having looked at a few other florists in the neighborhood, he was the most reasonable on pricing. Hopefully we will have a happier occasion to use their services in the not-so-distant future. Highly, highly recommended.

I needed a large arrangment for a Client in the White Plains area and was beyond pleased with the product and service The Carriage House provided. Matt helped me every step of the way, even visiting the restaurant where the flowers were being delivered to make sure they matched the colors. When finished, Matt emailed me photos since I was out of town and not able to see it in person. The Client loved them, the arrangement was gorgeous and it was delivered right on time. I couldnt have asked for any better and will definitely use them again. I absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a florist in the NY area.

Im from Syracuse NY and I was searching for a florist in White Plains on the internet. After reading the reviews, I chose Carriage House Flowers. I called and spoke to the owner and he was really friendly, nice and great to talk to. He sent the most beautiful flower arrangements to my Aunts Chapel for her Feast Day. I wish I could attach a picture here so you could see how stunning the arrangements were. The price was really reasonable and I feel like I was given a great deal on these flowers. If youre looking for a florist in White Plains, this is the place to call...trust me...you wont be disappointed!

So helpful! My grandmother is in the hospital and I wanted something extra special for her, so instead of ordering on line, I called the shop and spoke with John. He was friendly and understanding and I trust him to make something classy for her. He even offered to deliver it same-day on the day before Valentines day (and Im sure they are very busy.) What a relief to be able to count on John at the Carriage House even though I am ordering from the other side of the country. Thats good service. Update: He even sent me a photo of the bouquet!! Its LOVELY! Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Called John at Carriage House Flowers in White Plains to order flowers for my mothers 90th birthday. I had picked out a picture of an arrangement by FTD. John said that if I left it to him, he could do a nicer arrangement than the one that I picked out and did he ever. My mother called when the flowers were delivered and just raved about them. She was impressed with the variety of flowers in the arrangement and its overall beauty. I will certainly be calling John at Carriage House Flowers for all my future floral needs.

Wow - what a difference from some of the other shops in the area (um, like Pretty Petals Plus). Wonderful customer service. I just placed an order with them. The flowers havent even been received yet, but just based on how friendly and professional the florist was on the phone, Im hooked. This shop was helpful and willing to work with me and my modest budget, and the gentleman with whom I spoke didnt even mind when I called back to pester him with something Id forgotten to mention. Theyve won a new patron!

Im very pleased with John at Carriage House Flowers and the arrangement that was delivered. The flowers are fresh and my friend was delighted. Ive used another shop previously and thought I got a nice arrangement but the flowers were dead in a couple of days. Dont order from any other shop use Carriage House Flowers you wont be disappointed. BTW....I live in California and its nice to know that I found an honest business to deal with. I love sending flowers to my friends.

With the florists assistance, I picked out an orchid to be sent to a friend in a rehab facility. Not only did it arrive when stated, but he had repotted it and made it look absolutely gorgeous. The friend repeatedly told me how beautiful it was and how appreciated. This florist goes out of his way to make sure you have an arrangement that will be remembered.
