I have bought two automobiles from Southampton Jaguar and Range Rover since 2009. I wish I had positive information to tell you but I do not. I wont go into all of the problems that I have had but here is my last and final disaster that I have encountered this week. On Wednesday, May 24 th I brought my LR2 in for a simple $37 inspection. I was informed that two front tires were needed for $600 and an alignment was needed for $299. On my way over my husband noticed that my brake light was not working so I was forced to leave it there to be fixed or I would have brought it to Southampton Tire where the same tire is twenty per cent less and alignment is $79. I have have a tire changed there last year when as usual the Land Rover dealer stocks no parts and actually told me to go there. When I was told that the dealer did not have the tires in stock I asked them to call Southampton Tire and the woman answered that they wont deal with them. They need to get the tires from their certified tire dealers. She said the tires would be in by 4:00. Well they werent as usual and I had to wait until the nextday at 4:00 when the gentleman delivered my car back to me. In the meantime I called their manager in service and asked him why they were charging me $299 for a $79 alignment. He said oh we have a special today of $199. I said why didnt your service person tell me this. It is still too much money but whatever. He said she must have forgot. When I received my bill it showed full $299 charge but an insurance credit of $100. They must feel everyone is stupid and ignorant. When the man delivered me my keys to my deck door I said thank you and since I have a splint on my hand did not go out to the said car that was parked in my driveway overnight in a pouring rainstorm. My husband went out early the next morning to start it for me and open our gates and found the front drivers window fully open and the car soaking wet. When I phoned the manager of the dealer and told him what happened he said his employees said that was not true and that he trusted them more basically than me, his longtime customer. I was infuriated and asked for all of the paperwork from both of my automobiles and said I would not be returning. I also requested that my husband and his employees take a polygraph test at which he laughed. I also told him two strange lights were on in my dashboard which turned out to be a major screw up that his mechanic did while changing the lightbulb that they charged me $65 for which included $50 labor for changing. Last night my battery was completely dead because of this and at 11:00 pm I had to get roadside assistance and it took over and hour and a very powerful 18 wheelers battery to charge mine. No smaller regular charger including his could do the job. I seriously recommend anyone that is thinking of buying any car from Southampton Jaguar/ Range Rover to think twice. I have never written a review on anything or anyone in 59 years but this was necessary!

Horrible service department. I cant beleve I actually bought a car from them previously. The manager looked down on me. Can you belive it? Anyway, he asked me where I lived and told me to go get it fixed elsewhere. I showed up with my Mothers C300 Mercedes that just needed a tire plugged from a nail. I have two others over $150k plus a Range Rover. My husband called and complained, a general manager extended his apologies to me but on this case apology NOT excepted. This wasnt a misundestanding, I was purporsely treated badly. The receptionist answered me snobbish, I told her Im on the system " meaning Im a client of course " she didnt bother to look me up. She said; I would recomend to put air on the tire but that wont fix the problem. Of course not, thanks for nothing. Go to Mercedes-Benz Manhattan or Southampton please, they are very professional always!

I am still discovering features on my new LR4. It is the best car for us. Plenty of cargo space for packages, including people or pets yet it is not too big. It runs smoothly, quietly and saves gas as I idle at a stop light. I have a wonderful running board which is a big help for a short person including kids. The color I chose, Indus Silver, has caught the eye of some of my friends who have commented on its beauty. My husband and I are comfortable and feel safe in this, our lovely ride. Southampton Land Rover offers a luxury service to its clients of which I have been a part for the last 21 years. All of my contact with them either phone or in person has been efficient and their personnel are knowledgeable, and very helpful.

My experience with the service department was fantastic. Michael the Service manager was very busy behind the counter and said he would be right with me as I came in. They asked if I wanted coffee and proceeded to help me. They provided me with a loaner car which was pre-arranged and found out all my problems I was experiencing with my Range Rover. He e-mailed me an estimate of my problems and I agreed. When I went to pick the vehicle up service was closed. But the Sales staff instantly retrieved the car out of the shop which was locked and I gave them payment. They were just as pleasant and helpful. We bought a used 2012 Range Rover Sport in Southampton last week - we absolutely love the car. I dont normally write reviews but the entire experience was first rate. Mike Heaney was our sales person - he was very professional and played an important role in helping us select our car - he was also extremely knowledgeable. At no point in the process was there a hard sell - quite the opposite, as it was all about finding the right car for us. We also had a great experience in dealing with the finance team - at 1.8% finance rate it made sense for us to take advantage of the attractive offer. I highly recommend coming to Southampton Land Rover if you need a car!!!

This is the place to buy or lease a Range Rover. The support is excellent, I worked with Adam and I would recommend highly. I have been a life long BMW owner, but felt a little underwhelmed by design choices. I am very happy with my move to a new brand, the Range Rover is a pleasure to drive and has the added benefit of being able to go off road. A nice extra that Range Rover Southampton provides is a technician will come to your house or office after you lease/purchase and review every button and knob with you so you can take full advantage of the technology these vehicles are packed with.

I wish I could give a great review, but the service dept is useless. I called every day for a week after I was rear ended, but no one would make me an appointment. Someone finally told me to just come in anytime- obviously that was not true. After waiting on line for 30 mins, one of the secretaries (definitely not a mechanic) decided on his own that my damages were too "minor" and I should just go to any body shop. It cost over $8,000 to repair my Range Rover. Good thing I went somewhere else and gave my money to a place that deserved it.
