the manager turned my one star poor customer service review into a 4 star very satisfied review. I received a ring as a gift that did not fit, I went in to be sized. they sent my ring out to be sized and it came back with an unknown substance on it that did not come off during cleaning. the spots were very noticeable so I went back to the store. they attempted to clean it again and looked at it under microscope the substance would not come off. the not so friendly sales woman said "well we can send it back". my boyfriend asked if there was a way to get a new ring she assertively said that would take longer and continued to fill out a sheet to send it back. as we are handed the receipt unsatisfied and dissapointed with her attitude and not seeming to care , the manager came over and offered to order a new ring and let me keep this one in the mean time.. she was very friendly and caring about our wants/needs. she did the right thing and she made her customer happy in doing so . I didnt catch her name but she made all the difference in my experience at kay jewlers poughkeepsie galleria

I have had nothing but good interactions with the people that work at this Kay Jewelers, however, my ring has had nothing but problems since I have received it. The quality is very poor. After people found out about all the problems Ive been having, I ended up getting lots of people tell me all the issues they have also had with jewelry they have gotten from this company. I recommend going to a small shop that will ensure any issues you have had are minimal.

DO NOT open up a KAY credit card with them!! KAY automatically enrolls you in a life, disability, and unemployment insurance policies WITHOUT telling you! I purchased an engagement ring on their credit card. Paid the balance off in full two weeks later. Then got a bill for all these insurance policies a week after that without any warning. I do not recommend this jeweler.

Please, please, please do yourself a favor and buy your jewelry at another jewelers! Have had the absolute worst most horrible experience with them and it has only best 5 months since I bought my engagement ring. I am dreading the fact that we are locked in for life with these people to "maintain" and "repair" our ring that they have already ruined several times.

The staff is nice and helpful but Im constantly having issues with my jewelry! My rings break or the jewels fall out.... the quality is just so poor.
