I live elsewhere and went in to look at some comfort shoes and saw that it was an outlet shop which price wise would appeal to me as these are generally expensive. . The help was very pleasant and happy to leave you alone (which I wanted) unless you asked for help. The sizes were all out for you to try. At some point I had some questions and the salesgirl was lovely and knowledgable. I bought 2 pairs of shoes and though the price on one seemed high, I figured "ok, this is an outlet, Im sure its cheaper". I returned home and this morning found them (a brand name) in my town in a brick and mortar store and subsequently checked on line for $55.00 less than I paid. I was quite unhappy. I phoned the store and I understand there is no refund- just a store credit. I dont live nearby (my sister is considering a move to New Paltz) and they do not have an online shop. I feel like I am out $55.00 which is no small amount. I can say I liked the shop considerably better yesterday before I realized it to be overpriced. Caveat Emptor

Some reviewer called this a shoe outlet. I would call it fine quality shoe store. If you want cheap shoes go to a DSW. if you want top quality shoes built well with good foot support and are willing to pay the normal price, this is a terrific store. We live in a larger metro area, but visit Pegasus in New Paltz for their excellent selection.

Shopping for shoes has never been easier! Great variety of awsome shoes with a friendly, knowledgeable staff that always finds exactly what you are looking for even when you dont know what it is! I would give this place six stars if I could!

They do not have a very good selection of athletic shoes. And the sizes and widths are hit or miss.
