The best thing this store has going for itself is its location. It has no other supermarkets for miles near it. If it had a serious competitor there would be no reason to go here. I stopped going to this supermarket after 2 years of frustration. Items in produce missing like red onions, green peppers. One time the green peppers were rotting on the shelf! When you ask customer service they say they called the produce dept, but there must be nobody working there because nobody shows up. A half a year ago I found juice that was a year past its expiration. There is barely anyone working here and if there are they are typically too busy goofing around and a group of very low class people. Youll be lucky to find more than one checkout line open, you have to check out yourself and there will usually be one employee watching over all these checkout lines. Wont help you bag anything usually, too busy texting or goofing off with the other staff. The carts are in bad shape and good luck finding one that actually is in good enough shape to roll right. This place is a hallmark example of a company that does not care and takes the consumers hard earned monies for granted and it just gets worse as time goes on. Shocking that a company the size and scope of Stop and Shop would allow themselves to be displayed like this. Just horrible.

I had a problem at Stop & Shop East Islip NY with the Grilled Chicken Breast price at the Deli department, they tried to charge me $23.00 per pound then they went to the point of lying and telling me that the price was $6 a peace which didnt even add up, so I went to Stop & Shop Islandia NY and had the same problem with the price but thats when STEVEN the manager came in and was so nice and helpfull, he is the only reason why Im coming back to Stop & Shop Islandia because he really knows how to treat a customer. Bye bye Stop & Shop East Islip; Stop & Shop Islandia you have a new customer thanks to your wonderful manager Steven.

Love coming here for groceries they always tend to have what i need and its much easier to find what you need then Walmart across the parking lot. The place is always clean and employees always have a smile on or helping people locate what they looking for surely a great place to do shopping.

The last three times that I went to this particular location they did not fill up the fruit for the children. My son who is 2 years old looks forward to the fruit every time that we go. They really need to work on that

Ive written corporate office to tell them that this supermarket is poorly maintained. There are never enough cashiers available, and the bottle return area is always unsightly. This store needs major renovations.

I work there for a year as maintenance carts we have new carts and the place is a lot cleaner then riverhead where I have worked there to we take the job very seriously

The shopping carts are very old, dirty and difficult to push. I also have a hard time finding a cart. There are not enough carts!
