I like the store with freshly bake goods and very good selections of organic products. EVERYTHING IN THE STORE are great, BUT buyer beware at checkout counter!!!!!!! Many times the clerks charging wrong price or charging something I didnt even have on my cart. Today, I went to the store for a quick pick up of a few items and the clerk told me my total of $39.00 something. I walk out the store thinking why only a few items cost that much??I looked for the receipt but couldnt find it. I went back to the store and retrieve my receipt. I found out they charged me $7.11 more on a total bill of $39.41. Make sure to get your receipt and check it. It has happened too many times. At least twice a months whenever I remember to check. Sometimes I have to go back to the store because it was an items of more than 10.00 in which I didnt even have in my bags. The manager have to do something about their clerks and update their sale of the week on their system.

The store is clean and organized. They had more items on sale at the beginning when it was just open. The biggest problem is checking out in that store. It does not matter how many items you have in your cart at any time, If you can get through the check out in 10min, then you are the luckiest costumer of the day. Usually they only have 2 or 3 (the most)registers open no matter which day or what time. And most of the cashiers do not know what they are doing at all. They not only move slow, but also keep chatting with other employees. The employees working on the floor do not do a good job with laying sighs out either. They either change sale signs late or put wrong sign on the shelf. Every time, I have to check the screen or receipt carefully, because they constantly charge me with the wrong price.

Bigger and better than New Hyde park ten times over. Parking is a serious struggle but theres a library, a bank, a gym, and several other places of business competing AND its great neck. Wide aisles, a seriously expansive produce area, a delicious (seriously) bakery, fresh juicery (no wheatgrass, sorry), seafood department, poultry.. a whammy. This is an excellent grocery store with many kosher options, quality wares and friendly staff, at least for the various meat departments. On occasion I will find something in the produce area without a price which can be tedious, but the stock clerk always returns with the an answer, 15 minute quest for the answer or not. Go here. Experience it. So nice!

Thank you, Best Market, for coming to Great Neck!!! We love everything about this new supermarket in our neighborhood! So well organised. So clean. I hope you watch out for those people who steal their carts and take them home. Really! On the very day of the supermarkets grand opening, we saw a man pulling an orange cart along Great Neck Road away from the Mall. Walbaum used to lose big carts left and right because there are people in this neighborhood who do not seem to understand that they cannot take home what is not their own!

Great selection of hard to find items, organic items, produce, frozen - the more you look the more you find. Surprisingly, they dont carry certain products, for example they carry lactose-free Cabot cheese thats shredded in a bag but they carry no bar Cabot cheese... (Weird.) They more than make up for what they dont have with the overall selection of everything else. Wide aisles and good parking. Prices ok/competitive. I prefer this market over most supermarkets because of the incredible variety.

The Great Neck store would be a 4 star experience but for the LOOOONG and SLOOOOW checkout lines there! This issue has surely got to be on the stores radar, but one would never know it. Besides a continued shortage of open checkout lines, the store seems to employ the slowest and least efficient employees working in that area. There is rarely a customer service counter person available either. Otherwise grocery selection is usually good and prices are generally competitive.

Looooong lines to check out. What happened to the self check out machines??? Organic berries are way too expensive and can not match prices of Whole Foods or Trader Joes. Frequently does not have organic tomatoes. Organic cereal is beyond expensive compared to Whole Foods, Traders Joes and Target. Has sales on yogurt, organic eggs Has very inexpensive Wild caught fish which is soooo nice! No organic chicken which is very annoying!

Horrible customer service. It was pouring outside and I happened to see a elderly woman looking for a shopping cart and she asked the cashier who was standing there not doing anything to get her a shopping cart. He saw that they were all outside and told her "oh no Im sorry they dont pay me enough to go out in the rain and get you a cart"... wow I couldnt believe it. That cashier deserves to get beat up by someone real soon.

NEVER GO TO THE JUICEBAR!! Customer service is BEYOND horrible ! Every time I go and ask for just 1 item thats on the menu the same girl always rolls her eyes and gets frustrated and say that I have to wait A WHOLE HOUR! Who is going to wait a hour for a 16 oz juice drink that should take no more than 3 minutes ! And I was the only one there ! FAIR WARNING

The store was laid out nicely and the food selection was great. The aisles were all neat and orderly and the prices were decent for being in a large suburban neighborhood. I would easily give this store a five star rating as the cashier gave me a warm smile and left me feeling good about the store. Kudos to the whole staff who work there.

Clean, well lit, lots of room in to navigate, friendly employees, relative fast check out and a huge selection of Kosher products, including a kosher dairy bakery ...They will also offer to try and order product if they dont dont carry it ...This place beats the old Waldbaums by light years !!

I have been going to this Best Market since they opened, have not had a bad experience until today. Cashier Sharika had a nasty attitude and charged me for something that I did not purchase. Did not realize this until I got back to my office. Disgusting, that she stole from me.

Clean, well laid out but by no means spacious. However parking can be terrible, and prices tend to run high. Also lost a star because so very often the lines during the weekend are far longer than they should be every weekend.

This market has everything you would ever need at a good price. The BEST thing is there craft beer selection. AND you can make up your own craft beer six packs for about 11 bucks. Thats one helluva deal in the craft beer world.

This just replaced the out of business Walbaums. Amazing how much nicer it looks when you put in new lights and open up the aisles. First time Ive shopped at this chain. Good selection and prices. Will be back
