This review is not toward the Salvation Army down the street. This review is toward the Thrift Store with the clothes outside. DO NOT GO HERE! I came to drop off clothes on New Years Eve (last day to donate for 2016). A Hispanic man was kind enough to help me get my large bags of clothes and shoes from my car to the store. When I asked for a receipt, however, he replied "We have no more paper." HUH? I spoke to my personal tax professional prior to coming t the store and I told from him that as long as my clothes/shows were donated by 12/31/16, Im eligible for a tax deduction. Well, I went back two weeks later (after the blizzard) and asked for a receipt. When I arrived, I was greeted by an Indian who did not know what was going on. I simply told her I was here for a receipt, as I came few weeks prior to donate items. The lady told me "We dont give receipts". WHAT?!? I then asked to speak to a manager. I was then brought to Lourdes (the wife of the Hispanic man that first helped me). She told me she needed to take my name and number down so she could call me when she got the receipts from her accountant. BULL!!! Its now been three weeks since that incident and Ive yet to receive a phone call. I will never donate or set foot in that place again. Ive reported them to the BBB and posted this review as a warning to everyone who desires to donate. DO NOT COME HERE!!

Find another venue to donate. You will help more that way. I have about 200lbs of new clothes to donate. After two unsuccessful attempts to have someone pick up the clothes (every time they misplaced my information) I rented a car to take the donations myself just to be treated in a very rude manner by an employee who just refused to give me a receipt.... I would advice people to donate to local churches or overseas charities... The Salvation Army sadly has lost direction and heart, they are now like a badly run business. Two thumbs down.

I had a similar experience (like Alexandra Griffin). I donated 2 bags and was told that the printer was down and so there was no receipt. I told the man Id be back for it next week but I was unable to go. I ended up letting it slide. That is just plain wrong. I donate regularly and am disappointed that this is happening. I still go there, however. Ill definitely let him know if that happens again.

Clothes and products are really old and look unclean. Disorganized and unappealing environment. Be careful of bedbugs and other undesirables. Some workers are rude and disrespectful. Some are nice and hardworking, They turn away donations of old christmas trees in the summer.

いい品物があることでも有名な救世軍の中古品店。ここは品物が流れるようで、入荷したらすぐになくなってしまうようです。

Nice and helpful staff. They accept donations and give you a tax receipt. This is a Salvation Army Family Store. There is another thrift shop with better signage closer to the train that is NOT salvation army and NOT charitable.

One of the reasons that I like this place Id that it has many items from the 80s and 90s
