Lets cover the Home Depot store at the harlem/Walden buffalo New York customer service. Employees dont want to do their job have the attitude like youre inconveniencing them for service. Bathrooms always a mess missing toilet paper soap towels up keep is Beyond subpar at 9:30 in the morning it should be well-stocked. Paint department was not bad to deal with Pat I believe is the woman who handled what I needed seem to helpful. Cashiers have really bad attitude, cant joke around with them or even say hi and good morning. All the items in the electrical department are mixed in with the wrong items you really have to search for what you need. This also applies to the plumbing department I know these little parts are a pain to put back when they are returned but whoever is doing its just throwing them in random spots. One of the items that I bought was not disabled and set off the alarm, was given a bunch of attitude as if I stole something lol, I spend close to 25 k a year with Home Depot time to take my business to Lowes. Now thats the store itself and the customer service lets get into the atmosphere, people walk straight through at this location and are extremely rude, I almost feel like Im at Walmart waiting to get into a fight. Will not be returning to this location Ill drive the extra 15 minutes to go to Lowes.

I went here today to buy some flowers and stuff. The girls working at the checkout didnt seem to know anything. When we asked them where they keep the rhodedrons she said we have flowers inside and outside. So we said are the rhodedrons outside? And she said oh yeah we have a drive through. What? Apparently she didnt know what it was. The lady watering the plants outside however was extremely helpful. We also went inside and looked at rugs. After waiting for 10 minutes some guy just came over and stood there not saying anything. We asked for help and he appeared as though we were botheeing him. He just kept saying "ok" to every single thing we said. So at one point i told my husband to not even waste his time trying to talk to him. I hate this Home Depot. Ive had much better luck with the one in West Seneca.

I am sorry Home Depot, but if your sub contracted delivery team cuts the cord off of my old refrigerator that I still planned on using, and throws the severed piece in the freezer drawer of said fridge, it is absolutely a reflection of your company! Also, it is not nice or customer friendly to accuse me or "someone" else of cutting it like some weird fridge destroying bandit. The cord was cleanly cut, not frayed or maybe torn and then neatly placed in the ice box. Be very careful when working with their delivery team. This location sub contracted my order with a local company called Reliable Appliance Installation, Inc.. I unfortunately was not an educated enough consumer, but hope others have better luck. I would absolutely NOT recommend their services.

Bad experience on average at this Home Depot. Asked 6 employees the same question. Do you have any cork board? First 3 didnt say anything or didnt know, 4th guy says "what is cork board", then the two most experience gentlemen approach and the younger (J- rock looking guy) blurts "online only", very rude. He should have said "I am not sure" or "I dont know" because I went to the section where they had cork board and showed the older guy where it was. He was the only employee out of 6 I would bother keeping on the Home depot team.

Needed to replace a screw to fix the base to an umbrella. Walked in, passed several associates and no greets until I got to the nuts and bolts aisle. Associate passing thru, greeted me, asked if I needed assistance. I explained what I was looking for and showed him my bolt I needed replaced and he stayed and assisted me until I found exactly what I needed. Wish I had gotten his name. Thank you Home depot associate.

Came to Home Depot to rent a van. Chris in tool rental was very friendly and helpful. Getting everything checked out was a breeze. He came out to it with us to make sure everything was working and that there was a snow brush in the van. Both at check out and return we were helped right away. Great customer service and a good experience all around. Would definitely come again.

Avoid this store. If you rent a truck, fill the tank and fail to bring a receipt, they will falsify the paperwork to indicate that theres only 7/8 tank of fuel (despite needle being pegged) and charge mileage. The store clerks will then proceed to say "its policy" despite any rational thought. If no more gas can possibly fit inside of the tank, its not 7/8th full.

Rental dept. here is better than the other Home Depots. The Home Depot close to my house was calling this Home Depot to get my questions answered requarding a blow in insulation machine. I decided to go to this Home Depot directly. Very knowledgeable and super friendly guys. Recommended this Home Depot if you are renting equipment.

AWFUL customer service. I asked for assistance and the kid told me hes never seen a dust pan before in his life. When I asked where I could find one he said he "didnt even know" and walked away to carry on his conversation with an employee he was talking to before he was asked to help me.

Nobody was in the the door section that we needed were going to purchase the door but they took too long so we left so you lost a purchase on on a door were building a deck so the door was going off the kitchen on the deck but no one was there so we walked out

As many times as I have had to purchase certain gadgets, tools, supplies and advice, I have been treated respectfully and helped a great deal. Each site and location hires their own personnel, so I speak from experience at the Thruway location.

I am a truck driver. Needed to run some errands and instead of getting an uber I rented one of their vans . Was a great experience. Fast and friendly service. In less than 10 minutes I was already driving.
