I was not there to get a tattoo. i wanted to buy an earring. I walked in with my daughter, who is 3. I was told before I even came through the door that "SHES NOT ALLOWED IN HERE!" Oh, okay. A little rude, but whatever. A nice girl who I think worked there offered to stand right outside the door with her. As she was right there and the earrings were right there by the door, that was fine. I knew what I wanted to buy. As I explained what I was looking for, before the words were even out of my mouth, the same man very rudely asked, "Who is this for?" "My son," I replied. "How old is he?" "Nine," I said. As I was saying his ear was already pierced, the man behind the counter interrupted me again, saying, "Nope, cant deal with minors on any level." So I said, "Okay, then Ill buy it for myself." "Ha, no youve already told us who you were buying it for. Good bye." He said this as he was turning his back on me. I could not believe how rudely I was treated, and for absolutely no reason. Unbelievable. Ive never been spoken to like this in any place of business, and I certainly would never recommend ANYONE go here for any reason. There are two other tattoo parlors in the neighborhood with much nicer people. I would never let these people touch me with a needle, thats for sure.

Great artists and atmosphere along with unrivaled professionalism and cleanliness make this shop the best in Brooklyn if not the entire city. The entire staff are patient, friendly and knowledgeable, and will work with customers to ensure that they are content with the tattoo or piercing they choose to adorn themselves with. Ive been getting tattooed at Brooklyn Ink for nearly 3 years and I would rather take the trip (from Soundview in the Bronx) out to Bay Ridge than go anywhere else. Every time I have work done its an experience and Ive always gone home extremely happy after getting tattooed here. Whether you live close in proximity to Brooklyn Ink or not, you should definately check out this shop. You will NOT be dissapointed.

Ive been getting tattooed for a long time now, and Ive never encountered the professionalism, artistic talent, cleanliness, and sheer knowledge of the history and technology of tattooing that these guys have anywhere else. I came in with a very simple and vague idea of what I wanted. They were able to expand on my idea, and it flourished into the best piece on my entire body. The atmosphere is great, with friends and neighborhood people stopping in and out all day, but the artists never appear distracted. I will go back again, and I recommend that anyone go there whether for your first tattoo, or for that giant back piece youve been thinking about for the last decade to finally tie together the rest of your upper body.

I went here for my birthday with a group of 6 friends. I was kind of skeptical because the place was small, and had no sitting area.But all that changed in an instant, the artist were very welcoming, professional and patient. It was my first tattoo, and Joe was amazing he did my tattoo so fast and it came out perfect! My other friends went to Chuck, and Matt. These guys were so cool that two of my friends who didnt come to get tattoo walked out with tattoos that they absolutely love. Thank you guys for letting me unofficially host my tattoo party at your shop!! I will be back with more friends!! XO!

I came in on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Matt was my artist and he was exceptional. He listened to my ideas and added his own stylistic approach, which was excellent. The staff was very accommodating to every customer who walked in. The atmosphere was also very friendly. We also spoke about adding to an existing tattoo I got years ago, and Matt has already started kicking around ideas just one day after. I cannot wait to have my next piece done by them. I highly recommend this place if you in the Bay Ridge/Dyker area.

Came here for nipple piercings and the staff was very rude. A guy came to the front desk and was very unfriendly to begin with. after discussing what i wanted, he had a hard time believing im over 18, and when i presented my school ID he refuse to accept it, then proceeded to tell me the Picture on my ID looked like a 6 year old chinese girl. im 20 years old and i have proportionate dwarfism. i feel like my height and "baby face" contributed to his disbelief in my age and i feel discriminated against.

Honestly place was great I got a tattoo done here but when I went back with a friend so he could get something done there was only 2 females which I didnt recognize from my experience and both looked at my friend and I very weird and DECLINED his idea because it was his first tattoo which made the experience of the place a little less than what I had. I will be going back soon to get more work done I hope they dont decline me as they did my friend.

I came in for my navel piercing to be tapered and the piercer was very rude. He didnt greet me or ask me how I was. Very unprofessional and I would not suggest this establishment. Other reviews must me fake or friends of the shop. I wanted to give this place a good review, but honestly you need to have manners to conduct a business. I would give a negative stars if I could.

My buddy has gotten most of his tattoos there so i decided to give it a shot. I got a tattoo from Rob and it is one of my favorites. He was very quick and the tattoo came out awesome. Rob and Alex are two really cool dudes and they make you feel right at home. I will be going back there for more work for sure.

Yea they were all nice but after getting my tatt evaluated by other tattoo artists I was told a lot more detail could have been added after I was told different at Brooklyn inc. I wish I had just got tatted somewhere else. I wouldnt recommend this shop to get tatted at all.

Very professional spot . Had my coverup done by Matt Huff. 3 traditional roses and they came out phenomenal everyone in the tattoo shop is very friendly and very informative I would highly recommend this tattoo shop for any cover-ups or for any custom work.

Moved to New York last year and needed a new tattoo place. Found this place by chance and wouldnt trust anyone but Matt Huff to do my tattoos or piercings. Such a great guy. Professional, clean, and honest. Love this place.
