I support small businesses and Black Square Tattoo is my local shop. I pass it almost daily and was waiting for the right opportunity to visit for some ink. Friday the 13th arrived and my step-daughter and me went for matching flash pieces - the family that tattoos together, stays together. The front desk person was chill. We put our names on the list for Nick Paine and he said hed call when it was almost our turn. He did call and we did return. Super fortunate to have met Nick, he banged out two high quality American Traditional pieces and I have an appointment to come back for another. Really cool local business. If youre looking to spend thousands on realistic, 10+ hour tattoos, then find somewhere else. If you want a high quality piece of American Traditional, then this place is perfect.

Popped in and grabbed some business cards to check the guys out. They all seemed really legit, constantly uploading work to IG and the work showed a nice range from trad to single needle work. Went back to talk to Noel and got inked up right there and then! Couldnt be happier. All the guys were really sound and Noel was confident, quick, and accurate. Im definitely heading back to get more and would recommend anyone to check em out! Affordable too! Cheapest quote I got was from them, and the quality is top notch!

This is a great shop, very clean, with great work. The artists who work here are always friendly and very helpful. I have gotten three different tattoos here from Lou (one flash and two custom designs) and I couldnt be happier about them. The colors came out amazingly and the line quality is nice and clean. I dont know how he does it but the tattoos I have gotten here have healed more quickly than any of the other tattoos that I have. I highly recommend checking these guys out.
