HOLY JEEZ. Any lover of video games must go to this place. First of all. I hate Google +. Sorry, Google. I had to say it. Youtube comments remake combined with lack of compatibility with my bmail address made it so. Second, I made a Google+ profile to write this review. I wrote something that I HATE in order to say how good this place is. Back in 2009 - 2010 I found this place as a freshman with some cool video games for sale, some dice for tabletops, and finally a few Arcade cabinets. Nice mix of stuff. Not a master an any of it by any means, but Jack of All Trades definitely. You can find yourself some classic systems or ye olde peripherals from old times past. NOW IF YOU MUST READ ANYTHING FROM THIS REVIEW, READ THIS PART. I graduated from Binghamton University and came back to visit in 2013. I came in with a group of friends looking for a Metal Gear Collection and a whole bunch of dice for a game called Time Wizards (Long Story). Bad news, we didnt find either. They dont sell dice anymore. Even worse news, the arcade cabinets in the back of the store were gone. Now some good news. Great news. Robot City Games has expanded. Off in the back, there is a good old token machine next to a Portal of Nostalgia. Street Fighter Alpha! Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (unfortunately frozen at the time)! House of the Dead! Smash TV! Punch Out! Racing Games! Pac Man! Cheesy 80s Light Gun shooters! The list went goddamn on and on. They may as well change their name to Robot City Games Museum. A History in Tokens. And the best part is, the majority of the games were ONE token, ONE play. And each token is at the American Standard Token rate of $.25 per token. The only ones that were 2 tokens, much to my slight disappointment, were all the racing games. The arcade blew me away. The room is dark to keep the screens brightly lit. The floors are carpeted. It felt like an arcade that has been there for years. I honestly felt like I was 7 again. But this time, I had my own goddamn tokens and mom couldnt tell me it was a waste of money. Its beautiful and you should find your way to Clinton Street NOW to get yourself behind one of those beautiful cabinets. Any Bing Uni student reading this review, hop onto a Westside Shuttle, get off at the Autozone then walk down Glenwood Ave. Hook right onto Clinton and walk down in. Pop into an Antique Shop or two. Then you turn yourself right into Robot City Games with a five dollar bill and you spend the next hour having the best fun before midterms come around. P.S. If my review gives you ANY increase in business, please for the love of the spirit of good reviews, get a racing cabinet with manual, an actual clutch, and two player support. Im a huge racing arcade fan and if you get yourself one of those, Ill be sure to visit each time I come around with more friends.

Robot City is a pretty cool place if you like either Arcades or Video Games from every system you could imagine. They have everything from Atari, N64, Sega Genesis, all the way to Ps4, Xbox One and everything in between. Fair prices for the most part yet a limited selection of new/unopened titles. The arcade is really the best in the area if not most of New York. Tons of games ranging from racing, shooters, to classics like Pac-Man and Gauntlet. They also have a stellar selection of Pinball Machines, all of which are playable with tokens at a very reasonable price. Some of the machines have been played a fair bit and are not very responsive, but thats understandable considering the age of some of these machines. Otherwise they are in great condition. The employees are rarely friendly but always helpful and thats enough for me. A great experience for arcade fans and newcomers alike.

Wow, what a change from its humble origins as a manga store in Endicott to this amazing arcade and video game shop. This has got to be one of the best reasonably sized arcades in operation. Were not talking vast swaths of warehouse space, but theres a nice sized space with tons of arcade machines and a surprising number of pinball tables too! Then of course theres the front of the house which features video games and consoles for sale both retro and modern. The showcase is definitely the retro games and consoles. I resisted the urge to pickup a Intellivision console to relive my youth but my wife had to pick up some N64 carts! Great place with decent prices!

Pinball machines here are consistently broken, yet always willing to take your money (and the employees will scoff at you to even cough up the 1 token that was just eaten). The selection of video games (specifically retro games) are great, but the prices are not competitive when taking into consideration other markets. The lighting in the front part of the store is not good either, and makes viewing the merchandise much more difficult than needed. Either way, I will not be spending any time or money here in the near future. Its a shame that this is considered the largest arcade in the state, because its more like a graveyard for broken coin-op.

With a retail store in front and a video game area in the back, Robot City has all the bases covered. The front store carries a large selection of used console games for sale. Also available are a great selection of consoles, from the 80s on up. Venture in the back section of the store to exchange cash for tokens and step back in time. Galaga, Pac-Man, Joust, all the classics are here. Driving games, shooters, and both classic and modern pinball are here as well. Five stars for a great store and arcade.

This place was amazing!! We went for my sons 18th birthday. There were 5 of us and I bought $20 worth of tokens for each of us. After spending close to 3hrs there we all still had about half of our tokens left. That means we are planning another trip up to use the other half of our tokens, we cant wait!! They also have an amazing selection of older games. Stroll down memory lane as they have older systems and games, like the ones we grew up on.

Any time ive been in there employees have been disrespectful and know many people that have claimed the same. I know people that have taken children with special needs there and they did not enjoy anything other then of course the gaming. Tried to post this to facebook and the cowards deleted it. Im glad sound go round is open and locally owned by respectful and helpful individual.

Pretty nice place with lots of variety for games going back to the 8-bit era. They even have old arcade game systems already set up to play or buy. The only criticism I can think of is that the store feels a bit cramped due to all the stock they have. The prices are very fair. Definitely spend your money here instead of dealing with the freaks at Gamestop.
