I would give zero stars if I could! At Tavlin- the prices are a bit high, but what bothers me is the lack of cleanliness and attitude of the place. The owners are abusive to any worker they bring in, I have witnessed them call their one worker for the day "stupid and curse words", a couple of times. There are mice and roaches, I witnessed a monster roach inside a glass candy container and workers acknowledged the mice. They also package nuts & things by hand, also in horrendous conditions.

Best Israeli/Mediterranean food market in all of New York! The food is so fresh and so delicious. You must have the homemade hummus, spinach borekas, potato leak soup, cauliflower and beans. The new falafel stand has been an perfect addition to this already amazing shop. The falafel & Shakshuka platters are everything you could wish for. Simply perfect. I live in Manhattan an come all the way out to Long Island for this place.

This is one of the best places to go for Mediterranean/Israeli food anywhere. The food is so fresh and delicious. The owners are so nice and friendly. This is a must place to go for Babaganoush it is amazing, as well as the hummus. Dont miss it.
