Yesterday, a great Walgreens On El Paseo Pharmacist came into the waiting area, and checked on those waiting, asking, "Are you waiting for a prescription?" It was me, another gentleman, and a child, waiting. The Pharmacist stopped, and spoke to the youngster, who was maybe 8 or 9 years old. The child was waiting for his mother, who was picking up a prescription, also. The Pharmacist asked, "Do you want to become a pharmacist?" The child replied, "I dont know what that is." The Pharmacist kindly told the child, gesturing across the pharmacy area, "Its what I do. We are the busiest Walgreens in the country!" Since I was right there, I looked at the child, and said, "Theyre all lifesavers!" Anyway, the Pharmacist told the boy, "Study your math and sciences." A man, also in line, told the child, "The Pharmacists make a great living, also!" Ive been dealing with this Walgreens for years. Ive been an insulin-dependent diabetic since the age of 7, so this Walgreens Pharmacy actually saves my life on a daily basis. Every member of this pharmacy, the Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Techs, go out of their way to treat me well. Theyve needed to call my doctors, theyve given me flu shots, and other injections, offered glucose when my levels low, dealt with multiple insurance companies (they can be a pain, but most of us need them), all while being kind. Now, knowing they are the busiest pharmacy in the country, Ive even more respect for all of them. Of course, Ive always respected them, but even more, now! I hope everyone treats them as well as they treat us!

The store itself is fine, but my problem with walgreens is their possessiveness with the bathroom. Im sorry but either you have a public restroom or you dont have one at all. If someone has the urgency to use the restroom, they should be able to go as they please. I shouldnt have to wait for an associate to decide when the right time is to unlock the restroom for me. I wouldnt mind as much if they were prompt to unlock the bathroom when you asked, but when you have to wait several minutes until a time is convenient for them is a little ridiculous in my opinion.

Do not use the pharmacy. In less than 4 months, I have had two independent issues, either of which I could sue the company for. Once, the wrong medication was given, and the other time I was subjected to severe emotional distress and violation of HIPAA. I have never spoken to a store manager before, but I not only spoke to the pharmacy manager, but the store manager also, and basically all he said was "sorry." If you value your health, dont use the pharmacy.

If youve had surgery and need your medication immediately per doctors orders, DO NOT USE this Walgreens. The techs will just say, come back in 2 hours... when i was a tech we had standards to uphold and help patients, we tried to get those emergency scripts out in 20 minutes or less. I guess they did away with that 20 minute rule. Thanks Walgreens my sister just had abdominal surgery, your the best!

Worst pharmacy in town. Drop-off window is closed with a bunch of workers behind it doing nothing, while the pick-up window line is extremely long and slow. People who need to do a quick drop off have to wait behind the people who take longer picking up. Will never return to this pharmacy since they have no respect for customers.

Every time I go here I wait in line a long time. Today again I was told to come back at 3 oclock from my prescription got there at 3 its not ready to wait 15 or 20 minutes waited 30 got into the line when it was my turn they told me it would be another 5 or 10 minutes at Walgreens you dont save money you waste time

This pharmacy has been the busiest IN THE ENTIRE company for months. They see over a thousand people a day. They follow the rules and get things done right. If you want your prescription to be taken care of by people who actually care. Go here. You want to be in and out in 5 minutes? Go to McDonalds.

The dumb pharmacy didnt give me my sons medical card back when i went for a prescription...i called to make sure they have it so i can pick it up in a couple days....when i went to pick it up they claimed they didnt have it....really bad waste of time and lost my sons medical card

pharmacy techs not familiar with commonly prescribed inhalers, classes of inhalers, and want to bill all generic inhalers at brand name co-pay prices. not impressed.

Really friendly pharmacy staff and always on the ball never had a problem with them compared to other Walgreens. Too bad the location kinda is ugly around it.

Overall the store is good. Is usually clean and tidy. Service could be a little faster but Im sure that depends on many factors. Typical Walgreens we all know.
