This store charges more at the register than what they have listed on the shelves. I tried to buy a case of beer that was on the shelf and listed as $21.99. They tried to charge me $26 and change for it. This happened once before to me, and I later found out that my neighbor no longer goes to their store for the same reason. They refused to honor the price that the case was labeled for. I strongly recommend, in an area that has many liquor stores as options, that you stay away from Jonathan Ron Liquors and give your business to one of the other local shops.

Ill never go again. While running errands with my wife, we stopped in to buy beer. I am 44 years old and live in the area. I frequently visited this store. I had my ID with me. My wife didnt have her purse with her, so no ID. They demanded IDs from both of us and wouldnt sell us alcohol because she didnt have hers. They just lost a long time customer. I understand being cautious with out of town young renters, however I am a middle-aged local. It was insulting and embarrassing.

Guy behind the counter said they would not put a $35 bottle of wine into a gift sleeve because they were "too busy" (there were a few people in line but not many). In the meantime - another guy is standing behind the counter doing nothing. Morons. Im in that store at least once a week. But never again. Stupid and by the way - overpriced. Ill stick with good service and pricing at Wegmans

Terrible! Overly expensive; Purposely increase prices in the summer to bilk the shore visitors. Most disturbing of all is that the staff is rude and a particular heavy set male is misogynistic and racist! There are many other liquor stores in the area that are reasonably priced, have good stock, and are friendly and respectful.

Helpful and friendly, but the organization is a bit overwhelming. They have lots of liquors in stock, and theyre attached to a grocery store, which makes it easy for a quick pass for both.

Dirtiest liquor store in Monmouth county with a terrible beer and wine selection. If that wasnt enough, they have the highest prices in the area.
