After not recieving or been offered a proper consultation i against my better judgement put down a deposit assuming i could consult with the artist the day of. That day was today. To my dissappointment the artist Brian Dicola was completely condescending, unprofessional and dismissive toward what I was asking for. He became even more rude after I expressed how i felt his idea of roses to fill space wasnt masculine enough of a concept for the tattoo. I asked if he had any other ideas and he reaponded with "i dunno i have a rose on my throat, so..." almost as if he was offended, then walking away saying hold on let me go draw something up. After 20 minutes of waiting and increasingly becoming more uncomfortable I decided to cut my $50 in losses and exited the establishment. Will give my hard earned money to someone whos more professional, understanding and accomodating toward my needs as a patron.

First time there, and Ive been a few different places. I had heard that their work is good and still no doubt that it is! BUT, my artist didnt ask me my name nor introduce himself, he actually didnt speak to me at all. When I walked in I showed them what I wanted and because the text in the photo was sloppy( and meant to be sloppy) they didnt want to do it cause "its a bad tattoo and that has their name attached" but it was what I wanted. They were fast, which is good or bad. I personally think that I paid too much but I dont mind. I recommend this place if you want a super fancy detailed tat.

When I was 18 I went for a quote on my thigh, 5 years later I go back and am remembered, feel at home, relaxed environment, flexible scheduling, clean work and great guys. I saw someone write that the artist barely talked to them, theyre not your therapist, and idk about you but Id prefer them concentrate as opposed to suffer threw your story about why your getting a paw print tattoo for your cat. 5 stars, I highly recommend and will continue to go to White Lotus.

Not impresssed, have no idea what the hype is about this place. I consulted twice with an artist there. Felt like I was pulling teeth to get him to talk and answer my questions. When I ask what color something will be ,I dont want to get one word answers (Green) Welllll being an artist myself I know their is close to 70 shades of GREEN. Unimpressed wit first impression and lack of communication, very overpriced also. Went elsewhere and couldnt be happier. .

There isnt a bad artist in the place. The best thing about the White Lotus, besides the great artwork and professional attitude, is the friendly environment they create in the place. Dont walk in and expect an LA Ink experience, where you can bare your soul to someone about the significance of your ink but instead expect some jokes and a good time. These guys know their work, they do it well, and its the best place for Ink around here.

Really put off by rudeness on the phone. Simply called to ask if they participate in the popular Friday the 13th tattoo specials, and was told, "No, we do quality work here. Not something youll regret in a week." Absolutely uncalled for. I will not hesitate to tell anyone considering getting a tattoo about my bad experience calling the White Lotus.

Just got my tattoo done with Desmond Mooney over at White Lotus Tattoo. I have to say Ive had a great experience with everyone at this shop. I just lost my grandfather and was able to take his appointment. They were very endearing and respectful with my situation. Thank you Desmond and everyone over there!!!

Daughter just got her first tatoo for her 18th Birthday and got totally ripped off. She got three little words written across her arm and charged us $120.I should have shopped around. Its a shame because we would have went back and referred them to friends.

HORRIBLE... never get a Tat here. Was rooked for a tat that was rushed through and will now be a blob on my skin. Artist did not do what I asked, and rushed through. Rooked on price as well... Seriously consider a different place.

This shop is clean and professional, yet you feel completely comfortable with all the guys in the shop. I would never have work done anywhere else in NJ again after going to White Lotus!
