I came here looking for a pair of black cowgirl boots. The owner was very nice and extremely patient as I tried on almost every pair in the store looking for the right fit. When we found a pair I liked she told me that my size was convertible to a youth size, which was $50 cheaper than the adult. I happily walked out the door with my new boots, thrilled to save money! When I got home I realized that they were not leather. The next day I took them back and told the woman I decided to expand my color choice to brown in hopes we could find something in the store that worked for me because I would like to still give her the business if possible since she was so helpful yesterday by recommending the youth size. I settled on a stunning pair of Ariats that were not only beautiful but also on sale! I walked out even happier than I was the day before. It was refreshing to deal with someone who was honest and not just out to make the biggest buck possible. It is also worth mentioning that the return policy is store credit only, but because she also thought the boots were leather when she sold them to me, I got the impression she would have refunded the money if I was not able to find anything. I do not think that she lied to me about the boots being leather. She told me the boots were new to the store, and I saw that every other boot by that company in the store was leather so I think it truly was an honest mistake. I take partial blame for this too because I did not check to see what the material was either. My husband and I were so happy with our experience here that he too bought a pair of boots (on layaway as we werent planning on spending that extra couple of hundred dollars right then.) We are also planning on bringing one of his Stetson hats there to be repaired in a few weeks when the hat guy is back in the store. I would not hesitate to recomend this store to anyone looking for a store to buy western wear or boots.

Halloween Day. I walked in the door and a woman greeted me. I told her I was looking for cowgirl boots. I was looking for a specific brand which they had a pretty good selection of. Maybe not the height, but I was interested enough to try a couple of nice looking pairs! after the first favorite pair, she did not have my size, I asked for my second favorite. The woman looks at me and says" dont waste my time if your not going to buy anything here and turn around to order boots online". As my composure started to decompose, I politely put the boot back that I was admiring and simply said, " Thank you but I will not be buying anything from your store, you lost my business" The woman said thank you in a manor that made me believe she did not want buy business from the minute I walked into the store! I asked who the owner was, and she replied it was her. Im not sure if I was intimidating to her, I did just get done running at smithville park, so I was dressed in my running gear, which isnt that scary on Halloween. I could have been her on a bad day, but This experience was worth sharing. Needless to say I will be spending my money elsewhere

went here last summer for a cowboy hat, when there the lady sales clerk told my wife about arita clogs and how an older man had trouble walking and these solved his problems, she asked was it available in wide widths, the answer was yes, yesterday 10-4-12, i called over to see if her size was in stock, it wasnt because they order months in advance from china, and none would be before early next year. checking the companies website, it clearly states there " no wide widths, only medium ", my wife was heart broken, she had been waitting to get a pair and now what she was lead to believe was a lie, granted this store has been around a long time ( and by the exterior it shows ) this is just wrong, its against sales 101, these people could do so much better without the b.s. retailers feed you now a days, i wouldnt be going back to support liars and cheats !

I havent been let down by their selection, and if I wanted something they didnt have in stock, they we able to get it for me with no problem, or additional charge. Really nice people that are eager to help you out.
