I truly cannot fathom how this place is still open. Anything worth something is more often than not, defective, broken, completely missing, or dirty!! Unfortunately, my mother enjoys perusing the store and on a recent adventure with her, I was impressed how little the employees must care about theft, cleanliness, and customers safety. She saw 2 Yellow Diamonds gift sets by Versace in their boxes. The price was reasonable but good thing she had the common sense to open the boxes to inventory the contents. The set was supposed to come with perfume and a tote. BOTH boxes had no perfume in sight except for one that only contained the crystal cap for the perfume. Actually, the boxes kind of fit in with the rest of the empty boxes where the item was completely stolen or someone had returned an old and obviously well used hair dryer/curling iron and swapped it for the contents in the box. I am no stranger to this as I had attempted to purchase a Prada mens cologne at this very store months ago. It was on clearance and wrapped in plastic so I didnt (and couldnt without opening) check the contents. Lo and behold, when my husband opened it at home, it contained one sports sock and half a used Polo cologne bottle. I AM COMPLETELY APPALLED AND DISGUSTED THAT THEY RESELL USED AND/OR BROKEN ITEMS! Its called shrink! But then they wouldnt have anything in the store besides tons of broken toys and dirty, ripped clothes in the aisles as I have encountered on my recent visit. I also was privy enough to see a mens collared shirt on the rack that clearly reads "Made for you by Lord & Taylor". Ive had had absolutely enough of shopping at this overpriced Goodwill and empty box graveyard.
