I wish there were negative stars you can give a business! This place is horrible, and I wish I wouldve read the reviews here before I gave them my business! So, I purchased a tv stand from here for almost $200. When they came to load the stand, they were loading the floor sample. I immediately told them I didnt want that! I paid for something brand new in the box, not for something scratched up and dented like what they were trying to give me. So, they went into their storage and 15 minutes later brought up a box of what looked like was my new tv stand I had just paid for. When my boyfriend and I got home, we opened the box and it was something completely different! We immediately called them but couldnt resolve anything because it was 20 minutes to them closing, and we live 45 minutes away! Came back the next day, and they tell my boyfriend they dont have what I already PAID for! Theyre giving us options they say, take the floor model as is or they can try and bring it from their warehouse maybe by 3pm!!! So I tell them, I have to work, I cant wait till that time. Give me my money back so I can go get my stuff somewhere else! Oh, but I signed a receipt that says no refunds!!! But I dont gave what I paid for!!! Irresponsible and rude! Then I was told to calm down or they were calling the cops on me!! Go ahead I said, call them! Im not illegal like the majority of people youre used to ripping off here!!!! Thats why they are still in business, because majority of residents in this area arw either illegal or dont speak English and dont know or are afraid to pursue their rights! Well guess what, you screwed over the wrong one!!! I feel sorry for these hard working people, my people because I am Dominican that they screw over here!!!! Gyess what, Im going to the BBB!!! You gonna learn today!!! Thats NOT how you do business!!!

This is my second time doing business with Passaic Discount Furniture and both times I had a great experience. This second time in particular, I sat in the store for hours while three representatives patiently helped me decide on what to get. There was complications with my card because of the large purchase and they waited for at least an hour while I called my bank at least 10 times and swiped my card at least 20 times. I ordered a very large 5 piece Living room set, along with an extra large area rug and I live on the fourth floor with no elevator. Even under these conditions they honored the standard delivery charge and even allowed me to pay the delivery upon receiving the furniture. The delivery guys were great, I had a time constraint and absolutely needed the furniture delivered earlier than my window, they willfully showed up an hour and a half before my delivery window and carried my furniture pieces up a four floor walk-up with a smile. My furniture came in a couple days later than expected but I still received it within one week of ordering it and it was delivered to me as soon as they got it. Thank you for you help and support! I would definitely recommend Passaic Discount Furniture and I will be doing business with them again!!

I purchased my bedroom set place a year and was pleased with the delivery and the customer service . So this month when I moved to my new home I decide to go back unfortunately I did get the same customer service. I was first told my item was going to be available Friday latest Saturday I call Friday and they informed me that that information was incorrect . That they wouldnt have it till Wednesday or Thursday . When I finally get the item ( almost a week late) when I open the package it was the incorrect item . I contact the store and the front desk women was extremely rude . Stating that it wasnt a big deal it was their first mistake !!! I got very frustrated when she didnt allow me to explain anything to her because so would continue to speak over me to point . I asked her to speak to the owner/manager. Which was no help and rude as well . All he said was I could have someone pick it up or wait till tomm . At this point I just went to pick up the item because I didnt want to continue dealing with them . They are extremely unprofessional ! I dont recommend this place to no one .

Worst customer service ever. Their delivery set time is never the actual time, they keep you waiting all day for your furniture to arrive, never apologize for their extremely poor customer service, and to top it all off the furniture that they do deliver is ripped and damaged. After I let the Spanish manager "Willy" about the problem he says to call him tomorrow and then take another eternity for the delivery people to actually come and take the defected couch. Extremely disappointed and if wasnt for their "NO REFUND" policy they have I would have been done dealing with them a long time ago. Beware people, just go to a legit furniture store may be a bit more expensive but at least you know you are getting your moneys worth and not having to deal with such rude workers who could care less about the service to their customers. First and last time shopping here!

I went looking for a bed that did nor require a box-spring. The sales rep showed me one and I ended buying it he assured it did not require one... I disposed of it the night before they delivered it and it turns out when I received my bed it did in fact need one. I also purchased a closet it came scratched and the locks dont work I called multiple times and I keep being told I will receive a call back and have not heard anything...I ended up having to go to home depot to buy wood and try and make the bed work without a box spring yet its not sturdy at all :(finally heard from the owner and now hes trying to sell me a box-spring for 20 dollard... I dont care if its 5 dollars the point is I wanted a lower bed that did not need a box-spring and the only reason I spoke to him is because I continued calling the store.

My mom purchased a dining room set, which upon arrival, we were not happy with, as the cherry wood color seemed much darker in person than it did in the book. I decided to give Marcelo a call to see if we could exchange the set for a different one. To my surprise, Marcelo was very quick and did not hesitate one bit on getting me back into the store to pick out another dining set. He happily exchanged the set for us without any hesitations and the end results is one extremely happy customer. I definitely recommend this place and will be back! Both Marcelo and Mark were a pleasure to work with. Great customer service, very attentive and caring to our situation. They really work with you to make sure you are 100% happy with your purchase.
