Weve always been a Mace Brothers family being that weve lived in Kearny for years, my dad worked there as a teenager, and they never fail to disappoint. I have lived down the block from Melrays and have never bought anything there, so my family and I decided that they seemed decent and we should try them out. I would never go here again. Their customer service sucks. All we bought was a full size mattress, and the mattress they sent to my house had a defective frame (it squeaked so bad that one night I had to take it apart) and the bed they gave me was most likely used on a floor display because of how uncomfortable and unusually worn in it was. After weeks upon weeks of phone tag, the right bed was delivered, except in the wrong size- instead of full, I got a queen. Luckilly the size of the bed didnt eat up my room, so we left it alone. My bed was brand new with a very nice frame (that doesnt squeak!!!) and Ive been sleeping comfortably ever since. The two stars is for how awful their customer service is. I would never go here again.

Melrays has nice furniture, good prices and the POOREST service you will ever deal with in retail. I ordered 4 pieces of furniture in Jan 2013 and as of May 7, 2013 I have received ONE piece of furniture. Two pieces were delivered in APRIL and were the wrong chairs! The 6-8 weeks delivery stated on the receipt is a FLAT OUT LIE! Save yourself a lot of hassle and wasted time in countless phone calls (with no clear answers)......take your business else where.

Shopped there twice in the last year. Extremely helpful staff. Every sales person I came in contact with was very friendly. Guided us to the types of pieces we were looking for in the quality range we were looking for as well. Extremely Knowledgeable. Would recommend to friends & family. Fair Prices.
