Though this Michaels and others have a great variety of craft supplies, my experience yesterday indicated to me this one is short-staffed and very poorly managed. I asked the cashier if they take competitors coupons. She said yes. Then she rang me up, looked at the $10 off A.C. Moore coupon I had, and said she didnt have that coupon, but "basically just took ten dollars off." She seemed rushed and stressed and was the only cashier for a very long line of customers. As I walked away, I saw that she had only taken $5.60 off. I walked back into the store, couldnt find anyone in the floor, asked a staff member in framing for help finding someone, and she sent me back to the very long line to wait for help at the cash register. Basically, I then had to return all the items I bought because the manager and cashier told me they didnt take "cash off" coupons and it was indicated in fine print somewhere. I thoroughly looked through the website and found no such rule in any fine print. They let me walk out empty handed to go use my coupon at A.C. Moore rather than take a comparable percentage off and keep me as a customer. To me, thats horrible customer service. The manager said she was sorry and it was "unfortunate" but there was nothing she could do. Then theres nothing I can do but write a review and no longer go there for my craft supply needs.

Did not have a good experience today at this Michaels. Went in to purchase a tin of face paint glitter gel I have purchased many times previously from the same location. It was out of stock in the aisle, so I searched for an employee but there werent any to be found - seemed very short staffed. Asked the cash register associate for assistance and she called an employee to the register, who was extremely curt with me and acted like I interrupted her day. She then proceeded to tell me they didnt have any face paint glitter gel in stock and no one had ordered replacements and walked away before I could respond. I own a party company and need a lot of craft related projects but after my experience today at this understaffed, understocked, rude, and unhelpful Michaels store I will be taking business elsewhere.

Great store as most Michaels are. Courteous and friendly employees. They have a good selection of items. Highly recommend for all those "crafty" people. Also, well organized and clean.
